We then see Jeff and Buddy talking in a room. "I saw that we both signed up for the same thing on different lists," Jeff explains. "Yeah," Buddy says, "That action figure, Mega Woof. I was getting that for Cody, you for Wyboo." "Yeah," Jeff says, "Ever heard of it?" "Nope," Buddy asks. They then hear heroic music playing, and they see Cody and Wyboo watching a labrador retriever, who is flying, with a cape on and the letters "MW" on his chest. "Mega Woof!!" Jeff and Buddy say together. They then see the dog catch a falling boy. "Thanks, Mega Woof!!" the boy says. The dog then licks the boy's cheek. "That's right, I know that I can always count on you!!" the boy says. The show then ends, and the credits run with that heroic music still playing. Cody and Wyboo clap. "They seem to like it," Jeff says, "Guess we should head on out." "Good idea," Buddy says. The two then hop in the plane the Road Rovers originally took, and find some others in there, who are headed to the largest mall, the Mall of America in Minnesota. "So, what are you all getting?" Star asks Buddy and Jeff. "Two Mega Woofs," Jeff explains. Star, Colleen, Exile, Mars, and Lucy, the others in the plane, then begin cracking up. "What's so funny?" Buddy asks. "Don't you all know?" Star asks, "Mega Woof is the most popular selling toy of the year, even more popular than Tickle Me Elmo last year!!" They all then begin laughing again. Jeff and Buddy then simultaneoulsy put on ear muffs as the plane takes off. We then head to upper Georgia, where we see a car rental place called, "Mo's Great Drives!" There, we see Blitz and Max looking at a '67 Cheverolet. "How can something that cool be here?" Max asks. "So I guess it's good that you totally destroyed the Ultra Rover if we can get this beautiful ride," Blitz replies. "Maybe," Max says, as Blitz wacks him with the tag to the car. "$2999? For a week?" Max asks, looking at it. "Yes," Blitz says, "And where are you going to get that kinda cash?" "Nowhere," Max says, "And all of these other cars are worth a old rusty soda bottle. I mean, sure that's low price, but that also means that the car is a piece of cow poop!" "Put simply," Blitz replies. So, the two stand by the highway, waiting and asking for a ride on this very, very uncrowded road. In fact, an average of four cars goes buy per 15 minutes. "It's useless!" Blitz says, after about 2 minutes. But then, suddenly, a truck comes up, with an Australian sheperd in the back. "Need anything?" the guy asks. "Yeah, where you headed?" Max asks. "Disney World," the man replies, in a hickish voice. "Perfect," Max says, "Can we ride?" "Sure," the man says, "You can ride back there with Julia. She's a sweetie." "Steady consolation then," Max says, as he and Blitz hop in the back of the truck. We then head up to the Mall Of America, where the Rovers are just landing outside of it. They then rush out, to quickly purchase their gifts. "We better hurry if it's so popular!" Jeff says to Buddy, as the two are free from the others. They then rush through the doors, and quickly find the nearest toy store. It has yet to open. Jeff then looks at his watch and sees that it is 8:58, two minutes before the store opens. "C'mon open!" Jeff shouts. The owner shows him his watch, an says, "2 minutes!!!" "Man, some people!" Jeff says. Soon though, the man opens the doors, and there is a mad rush into the store, and the owner is knocked down. Jeff then rushes in front of Buddy. "Mega Woof!" Jeff says, searching for it. "It's mine!!" Buddy says, as he pushes Jeff into a shelf of stuffed animals, and the animals fall all over Jeff. Buddy then sees a row of shelves that say "Mega Woof," but there are no actual action figures on the shelves. Jeff, meanwhile, has come up beside Buddy, and has seen something with the words "Mega Woof," on it. But, it is a greenish cat. "Sassy Kat? Who the heck is Sassy Kat?" Buddy then spots one of teh workers at the store. "Excuse me, do you have any Mega Woofs in the back?" Buddy asks. The man then begins lauging hilariously. He then spots his partner, and says, "Uh, these two are looking for a Mega Woof?" The two then begin cracking up. Then, the person next to the other helper is told, and she begins cracking up, and then tells the entire store, who all begin cracking up. "But, we have plenty of Mega Woof's sidekick Sassy Kat!" the man says. He then begins laughing even louder. Then Jeff, really mad, picks up the two, and says, "C'mon guys, where is your Christmas spirit?" The two then smile. "Better," Jeff replies, "Now, where could be find Mega Woofs?" "Uh, um," the helpers say, "We heard that there was a new shipment at World Of Toys in downtown Minneapolis." "Ok, World Of Toys," Jeff says, "Thank you for your help." The helpers then smile, and laugh after Jeff and Buddy are out of sight. Jeff then pushes Buddy into the kiddie carousel as they run for the exit, and he hits a horse with his head. Then, the girl on the horse continually keeps stepping on his head, as Jeff runs off to a taxi. "See ya back home, when I have a Mega Woof!" Jeff says, as he exits to a taxi. We then see Blitz and Max sitting together, while Julia is on another side. "She sure has a lot to say!" Blitz says. "Well maybe we should try talking," Max replies. He then barks out a phrase in dog, and Blitz can tell that he was interrupted. "She lives in Orlando," Max explains, "And she knows a dog named Xander." "Really? What a twist of luck!" Blitz says. Max then puts a jet pack to the car. "What are you doing?" Blitz asks. "Letting this dog help us even more." Max then hops into the front, and tells the driver that he has something special he is doing for Julia, and to let him drive. "Fine, as long as you don't kill us," the man says. "Warning, his driving is that bad," Blitz says. "Oh boy!" the man says. The truck then flies off due to the jet pack. In only a few seconds, the truck lands right down at the RRHQ. "Max, how'd you get so good, so quick?" Blitz asks. "This jet pack keeps the plane, er, truck, flying in the same direction taht you set to," Max replies. "Cheater," Blitz says. "Whatever you want to call it," Max says. He then turns to the man. "Go ahead and take Julia inside." "Ok," the man says. Blitz and Max then follow him in. They then lead the man down the hall to the cano-mutators. "Let her in," Max instructs. "What's going to happen?" the man asks, as he takes off her leash. "You'll see," Blitz replies, "Go on in." Julia then runs into a new cano-mutator that the Master had set up for the possibility of a new recruit. Then, the man watches as Julia changes from a simple, ordinary dog to a Road Rover. "I hope the Master doesn't mind the new addition," Max says. "Believe me, he won't," the man replies. "Cool outfit!" Julia says, "I can get into this!" Max then does the comic drumroll. "So, where we headed?" Julia asks. "First we need more information about Xander," Blitz says. "Oh yeah," Julia says, "Well, Xander and myself used to be pretty good friends. I mean, it wasn't like boydogfriend-girldogfriend, we were just companions. But then, one day, I wake up, and he's gone. However, I remeber a friend, Opey I think he was called, who was a friend of Xander's at the pound. He said he was taken home right before Xander was going to be," she gulps, "killed." "Oh no!" Blitz says, "Could Xander be dead?" "Maybe," Julia says, "But Xander escaped. He had to. He's just Xander. He won't anything bad happen to him, or his sister, who will most likely never be found." "Look familiar?" Blitz asks, pulling out a picture of Star. "Star is a Road Rover?" Julia asks, "Man, would Xander be proud of his little sis!" "He sure would, and I'm sure she'd be equally as proud of him!" Max says. "Let's head to Orlando then!" Max says, as the four re-enter the flying truck. We then head back to Minneapolis, where Jeff is rearriving at the mall, at the scheduled departure time of 4:00 PM. Buddy then sees him carrying absolutely nothing! "Serves you right that you couldn't find a doll after what you did to me!" Buddy says, "I had a headache for 4 straight hours!" "And you guys got no other shopping done!" Star says, shaking her head, "I got packages for 8 other Rovers!" "You guys are way behind," Mars says, "We all got 6, 7, 8, or 9 packages, while you guys laid a goose egg, hit a shotout, you have nothing!" "We'll make it up," Jeff replies, "But I am, and I mean am, going to get a Mega Woof doll." "Action figure!" Lucy shouts. "Whatever," Jeff replies. "Let's head home." We then see the sun begin to set, and then we see a snow slope. At first, it is quiet, but then we see many of the Rovers flying down it. "I'm gonna win!" Exile says, expert of the slopes. "Don't bet on it," Spirits ays, gaining ground. They then go over a jump, and Exile doens't clear it, but Spirit does. Spirit then crosses the finish line a winner, followed by Cody and then Buddy. "That was fun!" Spirit says, to the rest of the Rovers who all have finished, but for, "Where's Jeff?" she asks. "Someone get me out of this tree!" Jeff shouts from the distance, since when he jumped he landed in a tree. "He's not a good skiier," Colleen replies. "Obviously," Spirit says. We then head to the cabin, where some of the guys are watching the Monday Night clash between Miami and New England and others are sitting by the fire munching on s'mores and sipping hot chocolate. But, there are noticibly three Rovers missing, Spirit, Buddy, and Cody. We then go upstairs, and see the three in Cody's room. "Hey guys!" Cody says as the two enter, "What do you want?" "Cody," Spirit says, "I know this may sound very, very strange, and very, very unusual, but, you are our son." Cody then gasps. "But, how can that be?" he asks. Spirit and Buddy then show off their rings, for the first time showing them in public. "Why didn't you tell anyone about this?" Cody asks. "Well, because we didn't want them to ask so many questions," Buddy replies, "Though it is really simple. My owners had to leave birth while Spirit was pregnant with you. And you were accidentley seperated from your mother at a pet show. So, when we heard that you were a Junior Rover, we both wanted to join the orgination at the same time. So, when we saw each other, and you again, we were filled with unbeliveable joy. We loved each other more than anything else, and you as well." "I love you guys, too," Cody says, as the three hug. We then head down to Orlando, where we see Max, Blitz, and Julia all asleep in the truck parked by a house. Since there wasn't enough room in the man's house, and since the man's rickety-old truck looked better than his house did, the three sleep in the truck. Then, we watch as night comes to day, and we see the three wake up, Julia first, Max second, and Blitz a distant last. Then, we stop with the screen reading, "Tuesday: December 23, 9:00 AM." At this time, the man comes out, and lends his keys to Julia. "Drive save now, y' hear?" the man asks. "Yes, I gotcha Master," Julia replies, "See ya later!" She then backs out of the driveway, and heads on to Opey's house. We then jump to Opey's house, where Julia is just arriving. "I'll call for him," Julia says. She then barks out a series of barks, and out trots ol' Opey (the man's southern, so I guess it's wearing off on my writing), who barks back. She then barks again, and Opey barks again. "What'd he say?" Max asks. "He says that he has a friend who saw exactly what happened to Xander, but he'd nver tell him, because he always asked for Opey to do something for him before he told. His name's Gerf, and he's an annoying little dauschund. He lives on the corner of 54th and Orange." "Dauschunds are girly dogs!" Blitz says. "Now Blitz, don't get him mad when we get over there," Max replies. "I will try, but you know how hard it is," Blitz replies. "Oh yes, I know," Max says, raising his eyebrows, showing that he has no idea about what Blitz is saying. The three then drive off again, and spot the corner of 54th and Orange. Julia then exits the car, and barks out what sounds like a challenge to Max and Blitz. They then see a chubby legged dauschund run out, and then see him scared, so scared that he runs into his doghouse with his tail between his legs. "I'll handle this!" Julia says. She then runs up to Gerf's doghouse and growls into it. Gerf then frantically braks out something. "He squealed," Julia replies, "And it goes like this..."
