Welcome to To The Power of the Pack...Part 3

BUT...before you read, here's a little disclaimer. No, not the disclaimer you get at every single Road Rover website you go to (except for some minor variations), but this:
This is just my opinion of what could have happened to the Road Rovers and their creator on their way to being Rovers. This isn't what happened, what the creators intended on writing if they would have had another season. IT'S JUST MY OPINION!!! SO DON'T GET FREAKY ON ME!!! Thanks:

Once again, Part 3 kicks off right where Part 2 ended:

Suddenly, the mist begins to fade away, and the bright of day can be seen through the mist. The mist then continues to disappear, until we wind up outside (NOTE: Jeff will be going everywhere this story goes for the next few periods, he just won't be in it verbally or textually), where we see a platform, with a banner hanging down from it that says: "Welcome Home Pioneers." We then see the little purple creatures that Atilna described looking up in anticipation at the platform, waiting to see the new half-Trasilan, half-Earthling breed that has returned to their peaceful planet. Suddenly, out it comes from a UFO like thingy. But not only one, three creatures come out. Imediatley, we identify them as droks of the greyhound, collie, and german shepeherd kind, but the creatures are mystified by them. Suddenly, a large, old purple creature waddles up to take the microphone on the stage. He then says, "Citizens of Derloukavis, these are our brothers, Slidvill, Kamara, and Harignow. Remember them?" "Yes," one of the creatures answers, "They were the great warriors of the Invasion of 1836 (in Earth years), who saved our whole planet from the evil Yuglonanites!" "Exactly," the old creature says, "But now, they've changed. They are now half the creature we know on Earth to be canines, and half the creature we all are, Trasilians. From now on, this species will be known as droks, named after the brave warrior named Drok who died in the Invasion of 1836 saving our country. Any comments, droks?" Suddenly, Haringow, the German Shepherd, grabs the microphone, "Our mission trip to Earth was a very important one for our planet," he explains, "We have now established contact with the most civilized and intelligent species in the universes, dogs. We have also formed an alliance, that says that we will help out Earth and they will help us out likewise in times of need. Any questions?" Suddenly, as hands raise, the mist rises again over us, and all we see is darkness for a moment, until sunlight is restored. Then, we see:
"133 Years Later...
1978"
We then see a large TV with the news airing. At the desk is a drok, who looks similar to the drok we saw in Part 2, but much younger. She then says, "Today the final member of the Trasilian species passed away. The peaceful alliance between the predominant species since 1913, droks, and the predominant species before then, the Trasilians, never ended, but the longer lifespan and strength of droks has allowed them to outlive their Trasilian brothers. Ol' Anglanomax passed away in his home in Royal City today. He was 11 years old. In other news..."

Suddenly, the mist rises, and we see a large room with nice windows and nice carpting, and two droks sitting down in chairs at a desk. Wait a second, it's Sherri and Atilna! "Hello Jeff," Sherri says. "What, that's it?" Jeff asks, as we see him for the first time this Part, "I go back and learn only that the big purple blobs were called Trasilians and that Ol' Anglomax was the last living Trasilian! That's it?" "Of course not son!" Atilna exclaims, "We just wanted to explain something to you that even we cannot find in the pages of history." "Ohhhhh," Jeff says, "Do tell." "Well, we think it was sometime between 1845, the year Slidvill, Kamara, and Harignow returned, and 1850, but, well, they formed the 3 royal families," Sherri explains, "We needed new leadership with the death of our leader, so we appointed them as the three royal families that would keep us safe from invasions and intraplanetary problems. Slidvill started our family, Kamara started Colleen's, which you are a part of now, and Haringow started a family of German Shepherds." "Hold on," Jeff says, "There's a 3rd royal family?" "There WAS," Atilna says, "And now's your chance to learn exactly what happened to them." Suddenly, another mist rises over us (NOTE: Same thing as first time, except that this time travel period will be LONG) and we go to total darkness, until we see a moon shining over the planet of Caninus. We know it's Caninus, because we see droks scurring about in a frenzied panick, screaming and shouting. Suddenly, we overhear one of them telling the other, "There's been a bad situation down on Earth! Remember the alliance between us and Earth?" "Yes," the younger one says, a Border collie. "Well, the dog race is being attacked," the older one explains, "By a terrible beast. All we know him by is Schllinz. Mark Schllinz. He is a human who is imprisoning dogs down on Earth. He has them locked away on a far away island." "But why are you tellling me this dad?" the teenage yeared drok asks. "Because," he says with a whimper, "You're going down there." "What?" the young dog asks, "Why do I have to leave you and mom at home? Why can't my brother go?" "You know that Walter is way too young to fight in battle," the elder dog says, "And I, too old. It's up to you." "But da..." he pleads, but his father motions for him to go. As he walks out of our view, the father begins crying helplessley, and then says, "Oh god, be with him on this journey." Suddenly, we jump to what appears to be an army base like area, where we see many teenage yeared male and female droks running into little planes, many together. Then, suddenly, we see the biggest plane, which is being entered by the youngest of the droks, and one with many battle medals and such on him. "King Ferrall," a rottweiler-like soldier greets him, with a salute, which is returned, "Good luck." "Thanks," Ferrall replies, "I wish my wife we're still living. Then this young one would be able to stay up here with her." "Well, that's why I'm here," the soldier says, "The Royal Council was thinking about establishing a colony down on Earth where their planet will be protected. Eventually we think it could be the new home of the royal famillies." "The king and queen...on Earth?" Ferrall asks, "But they've been up here so long." "Earth needs much more help than we do," the soldier explains. "You're right Nick, you're right," Ferrall says, as his young child, a greyhound, like him, enters the plane. Suddenly, he is followed by two adult collies and a young collie, and many, many other droks, except for one noticeable breed. "Um...Nick," Ferrall says. Nick pops up next to him immediatley, "Where is the third family?" "Amaro and his newborn Princesa are flying on a seperate plane," Nick explains about the german shepherds, "Not enough room on one plane, you know." "Loud and clear," Ferrall says. Nick then hops in the pilot's seat, and begins to hit some buttons. Ferrall then sits in the passenger's seat, and buckles his seat belt. "One colony and peace to the dog species, coming up," Nick says, as the plane goes high into the air and leaves the planet. Little do they know, that it will be the last time they see the planet Caninus, as it becomes the size of a marble in the window. "Goodbye home," the young son of Ferrall says. Hearing him, Ferrall turns to him, and in a confident voice says, "Don't worry Atilna. It won't be the last time you see home." "I sure hope so," the innocent child says, as he waves bye-bye to home. Then, a young collie comes and sits down next to Atilna. "Hey," she says, "Have you seen Princesa?" "No Serda," Atilna replies, "But I overheard my dad say that she was on another ship or something. She'll meet us down on Earth." "Well, at least she's tagging along too," Serda says, "Do you know how long we'll be down there?" "I don't know," Atilna says, "I think it will just be until we defeat those guys and restore dog kind to peace. But it might be longer." "At least we'll have our friends," Serda says. The mist then rises over us again, and we find ourselves down on Earth, where we see the sun rising over the horizon and a base being built for the drok warriors from the Planet Caninus. Meanwhile, we also see some of the kids, including Serda the collie and Atilna the greyhound, playing tag around the base in the grass. Meanwhile, Ferrall has a concerned look on his face as he sees the sun rise. "We've waited 2 days now," Ferrall tells Nick, "And they still haven't showed up. What do you think the problem is?" "I don't know," Nick adds, "They definetly should've been here by now." Then, suddenly Ferrall remembers something. "Oh yeah, there was some kind of tracker thingy back on the plane that told us where each other was! If we turned that on we could find out how far they are from Earth!" he exclaims. "Where's the plane?" Nick asks. "Right there," Ferrall says, pointing. The two then run quickly to the plane, and, arriving, they hop in, and Ferrall pulls a little lever, and suddenly, tiny computers in the back of the plane go on, and the two run quickly to those. They then look excitedly at the computers, only to see nothing. No dot, no blinking something, no nothing. "But...isn't there supposed to be a dot on there?" Ferrall asks Nick, the Planet of Caninus' machine whiz (I guess you could say he's like the Q of James Bond movies). "It should," Nick replies, "I don't get it," he says, scratching his head. Then, suddenly, a small plane lands right in front of the military base, and hearing it, the two quickly exit, thinking it might be Amaro and Princesa or at least something about them. They then see a stupefied great dane drok running towards them, in total shock. "I was trailing Amaro and Princesa, as part of my duties from the royal families," he says with a whimper, "And there was a terrible explosion! The plane caught on fire, and disappeared into space! It was horrible!!" Nick and Ferrall are in shock. "Really?" Ferrall asks, "You mean we've lost 1/3 of the royal families?" "33.33333 percent," the great dane replies, now crying openly, "Horrible isn't it?" Suddenly, Ferrall turns away from the great dane, too sad to listen to more, as he walks away crying. This is strange for Ferrall, especially since he's the millitary leader. "How'd it happen?" Nick asks, less moved, but still upset. "I think there was some explosion on board," the great dane adds, still crying very much, "It was terrible! You better be glad you weren't there! It was such a horrible scene!" "What's your name?" Nick asks. "Gerald," the great dane says, "My friends call me Germ." "Thanks very much for the info Gerald," Nick replies, "We'll reward you for it. How terrible though. One of the royal families, gone into oblivion." "It sure is," Gerald says, "Now, about my reward..." Suddenly, a mist rises over us, and as it disappears, we see Nick hard at work on a machine, greeted by another, younger, rottweiler drok. "Hello son," Nick says, "Just working on this machine. It will help we droks to hide from the enemy during battle. King Ferrall will be very proud." "That's cool," the son replies, "Can I help?" "Well, it is very technical, but you could try it out for me," Nick says. "I sure will daddy," the son agrees, "What does it do?" "It changes animals into different types of animals," Nick exclaims, "For instance, we could launch a sneak attack on them by changing one of our own into one of them, physically, not mentally. They'd think he was one of their own, and then, when they least expect, he could win the war for us! Then he'd be right back to being a drok, and he'd have lots of prize money I'm sure." "And you want to be that guy," the son says. "I sure would," Nick says, "Ever since mom left us, it's been hard getting enough money to support us. It sure would help getting some extra cash between my paws." "It wouldn't at all," the son says, "I know I'm only 8, but maybe..." "If I get the money," Nick says, "I'll buy you the nicest car they have." "Thanks daddy," the son says, "I love you." "Love you too son," Nick says, as he embraces his son. The mist then rises over us, and we see the machine completely finished. Nick and his son, both 7 dog years older now (droks age the same way dogs do, so 1 year in human years!), are admiring the work, and are just about to test it for the first time. "This will be the turning point of the war," Nick says, as he allows his son to enter the machine. But, before he does, he turns to his dad, "Hey father," he says, "What are you going to call it?" "Um...the speciesmafier," Nick says, "Has a nice ring to it, don't you think?" "I guess," he says, as he enters the machine. Nick then hits a series of buttons on a nearby control panel, and suddenly, a large mist comes pouring out of the machine. Along with this, the lights go out and there is a violent shaking inside the room. Then, suddenly, the son emerges in dog form, wagging his tail and giving a doggy smile to his dad. "It can turn a drok into a dog!" Nick says happily, "Now for a drok into a human." Nick then hits a series of controls, but doesn't hit the last button. He then directs his son in dog form over to the controls, and instructs him to hit the big red button once he is inside. As he enters, his son does so, and the same sequence happens, before Nick emerges. And, suddely, we recognize him as a familiar face. A face we haven't seen in so long. A face that we've been waiting to see forever. The Master's, though a lot younger. As he looks at himself, and sees that he is indeed human, he gives a shout of triumph, and runs over and hugs his son. "It works!" he says happily, "Now we've got all the tools we need to win the war for our Planet!" Nick then shouts and his son howls as they do a little dance. Little do they know, that the next day, they will be visited by visitors of a different kind the next day. Suddenly, from the mist we emerge back into the room with Jeff's parents. "So, how was Part 2?" Atilna asks. "Wow!" Jeff says, "The Master, one of us!" "And a very good one of us," Sherri says, "He was very technilogically skilled." "And the speciesmafier worked for him right out of the box!" Jeff says, "So did he win the war?" "Not the next day at least," Sherri replies, "Minutes after he completed this, a 3-month cease fire was formed, and so they switched back to their drok selves so they wouldn't be out of the ordinary. During that time, he also met you for the first time." "How could I forget," Jeff says, "What an adventure that was way back in '87!" "Yup," Sherri says, "Luckily you left in enough time. The war started back up in 1 week. Nick re-became the Master, and the son rebecame a dog, since he...well, just liked being a dog! However, Nick never seemed to attack at the right time to defeat the army." "But hold on...hold on," Jeff says, "I shrunk their base. I remember that I did! Didn't that win the war?" "No," Sherri says, "That restored your marriage to Colleen, and made Mr. Goofball over there like me instead of Serda. Saving her was what saved your marriage." "Besides," Atilna says, "Most of their soldiers weren't there anyway at the time. It wasn't much of a loss." "Oh," Jeff says, "Ok. One more question." "Yes?" Sherri asks. "We're you the first kings and queens?" Jeff asks. "No way," Atilna replies, "The first ON EARTH, but not the first kings and queens. The royal families ruled, and so there were 3 kings and 3 queens. You all are the first ever to be with only 1 king and 1 queen." "Cool," Jeff says, "And that's a record that can never be broken." "Bingo!" Sherri says. "On with the story," Atilna says, "Well, the war finally ended in July 1988 with a drok victory. We are celebrated and partied. Then, the next day..." "Cya later," Jeff says, growing accustomed to these time trips. "This is your last trip," Sherri says, "Enjoy it." Suddenly, the mist rises over us again, and we find ourselves outside watching the sunset, and seeing fireworks being shot off. No, it isn't the Fourth of July, but it is an Independence Day. "And so, on this, the Seventeeth of July, 1988," General Ferrall (his name was never mentioned in "Masked K9," but he was the general who said ""Do you come in peace or war?" and "Then you can fight for us, correct?" and stuff) says, to an audience of both droks and dogs, "I declare this an Independence Day for dog kind! We stood tall, and we defeated the evil army that took innocent dogs away from their families! So, in case something similar happens again, we have decided to establish two colonies on this ground that we have won the war on. Here all droks and dogs can live in peace and happiness, and the royal families will now reside here, ready to serve our canine friends!" A loud cheer of happiness comes from the crowd as Ferrall raises his hands in victory. The mist then rises over us again, and we find ourselves in the same place, but later. There are less droks and dogs around, many of them that still are are drinking water, eating biscuits, and tasting some foods from both planets. Then, suddenly, the same great dane that told us of the explosion of Amaro's and Princesa's plane, sneaks away suspiciously. Nobody notices him, except us, though we can't do anything about it. He then goes to the left of the building, and walks into what used to be the enemies' base, now just a war memorial. As he enters, we do too, and we see many of the younger droks and dogs playing games like 4-courners and hide-and-go seek. "Hey kids," he says to them, as we notice some dingo, doberman, and even Rich's son, as well as Atilna, Serda, and their future mates, Sherri, a drok, Rich, a dog. "Hello," Atilna says. "The party's almost over," the great dane exclaims, "So how would you all like some ice cream?" "I don't know," Serda says, "Maybe we should ask our parents first." "Come on," the female dingo replies, "The nice great dane just offered us some ice cream! Let's go get some!" "I'm staying," Serda says, and Atilna, Rich, and Sherri stand next to her in approval. Nick's son thinks for a second, but decides to join the ice cream kids. "Suit yourselves," the female dingo says, as they follow the great dane. The kids, which number about 7 droks and 5 dogs, follow the great dane to a black plane. "Now just come inside," the friendly great dane says, "And you can have all the ice cream you want." The 12 droks and dogs then pile in quickly, and all obediently enter the plane. "Just follow that man over there," he says, "He'll take you to the ice cream." As the 12 do, the great dane shuts the door that they came in and goes to the pilot's seat. He then buckles his seat belt, steps on the gas, and the plane begins to go up in the air. As it does, the 12 dogs and droks stop in their tracks. "What's going on?" a male doberman drok asks the man, "Where are we going?" Suddenly, himself, 2 other droks, and a dog find themselves up against an open door, and with a quick move, the large man pushes 4 of them into the door, closes it, and then locks it. There are 3 droks, a male doberman, a male australian shepherd, and a female border collie, along with a Jack Russell Terrier male dog. As soon as this happens, a female dingo drok lunges for the man, and tries to bite his shoulder, but suddenly another pair of arms comes out of nowhere and picks her up off his shoulders. We then see a cano-mutant, the first ever cano-mutant, dragging her to a cell like structue, and locking her inside. After this, more cano-mutants begin coming out of little holes in the wall and the floor, and taking the young ones, with no defense and no leader, into more little cell like structures.

After they have all been put in the cells, we go in the room where the first 4 were locked in, and see them banging on the door helplessley to get out. They were lucky enough to not be put in the row of cells, 4 on each side, but still, being in a small room with 4 droks and a dog makes it much more crowded. Suddenly, the intercom comes on, and they stop barking and banging. "Hello young children," Germ, the great dane, says, "We are taking you away from here to different places, so that your parents will not find you all in one place. Tonight, when you go to bed, or if you don't, we will place a special gas in your cells that will turn you ALL into dogs. We stole it from a drok named Nick's machine last night. With it, it will wipe out all your memory of your life before you were a drok or a dog here on Royal Island. And, if you ever return to Royal Dog Island again, we will do exactly what we've done to your parents. Take your children." We then go back down to Earth, where Atilna, Serda, Rich, and Sherri are shouting in shock and fear. Suddenly, Ferrall runs up to them. "What happened?" Ferrall asks the shocked 4. "Remember that great dane that gave you the tip on what happened to Amaro and Princesa..." Atilna says. Ferrall nods his head. "Well, he just kidnapped 8 of our best friends, and 4 dogs too! He said they were just going to get some ice cream, and we didn't fall for it, but they did, and now they're gone!" "Oh no," Ferrall says, "We must send someone after them immediatley! We can't let..." "It's no use," Nick says, coming up from behind, "Their way gone by now. There's no way you could catch them. And anyway, who knows where they went?" "But your son is with them!" Serda shouts. "He is?" Nick shouts, "Really?" "Yeah," Serda says, "I thought he was going to stay with us, but he went with them instead!" "Well, how long ago did this happen?" Nick asks. "10 minutes about," Sherri says. "See, they could have gone anywhere," Nick says, "Sure, it's bad that our children our gone, but we shouldn't risk more lives in a desperate attempt to find them. They know their way home. They'll come back to us. Besides, there were 12 of us. I don't think there couldn't have been much more than 5 of them in that plane. They'll come back, you'll see." "Allright," Ferrall says, "I hate that hopless feeling I have right now though." Yet another mist rises over us again, and we find ourselves later that night in the place where Nick built his machines and stuff. "My son is missing," he says, crying as he sees his picture on his desk, "How could this happen? It's so terrible!" he says, between tears, "How could I have let him get away? How? And his friends too?" Then, suddenly, he gets an idea. "Wait a second. If they wanted to make them look normal, he'd transform them into dogs or something." He then walks over to the secondary machine he had built, and tries to turn it on, but it won't start. "And that's how they'll do it," Nick says, realizing that the machine is inable to do anything now, "But they wouldn't keep them all in one place. They'd spread them out, make it harder for us to gather them, virtually impossible to do in one lifetime! So, if they make them more normal to scatter them apart, I'll make myself more normal to bring them back together." He then turns to the speciesmafier, and then to the controls, and begins hitting in a series of commands. He then hits the red button quickly, and then runs into the speciesmafier before it starts up. Then, the same sequence of events happens once more, and as it ends, Nick exits as the Master again. "I'm no longer Nick," he says to himself, "I am now William Shephered. My goal is to bring back the lost young ones of our planet. If I don't do it in their lifetime, then their children can get the advantage they didn't, being able to be what they are, droks, or cano-sapiens. They will also help out the dog world and human world on Earth. They will be called, Road Rovers. Wow, maybe I should write that down!" he says, trying to keep track of everything he just said. And then, we emerge from the mist, for the last time, and find ourselves back in the presence of Jeff's mother and father again. "And so that was what happened to the Master and to our planet," Atilna says. "But did he succeed?" Jeff asks. "You should know," Sherri says, "Aren't you one of them?" "Yeah, but I was never lost," Jeff replies. "Don't tell me you forgot the first years of your life that Garrett told you all about," Sherri says. "True, but I wasn't even born when all of your friends disappeared!" "Then who are the Road Rovers?" Atilna asks, "If you are our son, then they are..." "Your friend's children!" Jeff exclaims, "And so Blitz, Hunter, Rango, Shag, Exile, Julia, Muzzle, Spirit..." "Those are the 8," Sherri says, "Colleen and you were born at RDI. But the Master knew that he should give some dogs the chance too, so he got Buddy, Star, and Xander to complete the team. Star joined primarily for her annoyance, Xander since he was Star's brother, and Buddy Spirit's wife." "But what about the Junior Rovers? Are they from a heritage of droks?" Jeff asks. "Only Cody," Sherri replies, "They too were dogs that got the chance to become Rovers, and will replace you all some day. And that's why the Master always says, 'Deep inside every dog is a Road Rover.'" "But did he ever find his son?" Jeff asks. "We can't tell you everything," Sherri says, "We'll leave that up to you to find up, when you head back home." "Can I?" Jeff asks, "Now? I really miss home, especially my son." "You're lesson is over," Atilna says, "I can't see any reason why not. But you must return on your own." "Why? Can't you come home with me?" "No," Sherri says, "There is still an adventure ahead of you. You must do it on your own. We've helped you as much as we can. The rest is up to you." "I kind of figured that would happen," Jeff says, "But can I stay for the day? I'd like to have at least 1 more day with my new found friends." "Fine by us," Sherri says, "I guess we'll need a proper goodbye before you head back home." "Guess so," Jeff says, "Adios for now." Jef then exits the room, and joins his friends, Glenn, Cricket, and Dervish, with their new found friends, the members of the Howling Musicians, who have just finished their performance. Jeff then looks at his watch, and sees that it's 10:05 AM, 5 minutes after he entered the room with his parents, but that can't be! He time traveled for at least 3 hours! But then he remembers what happened with his last trip through time in the same way, which was with Garrett. When he came back, basically no time had passed, and his friends treated him weird. So, he stops from saying where he was. "Sorry guys," Jeff says, "Had to go to the restroom." "Man, you must have really had to go," Cricket replies. "#2," Jeff replies. "Oh..." Cricket says. "Welp, thanks for the deal," Glenn says, shaking the lead singer for the Howling Musicians paws, "We'll see ya around!" "No problem," he says, "Have fun!" "We will!" Dervish says, "So, what are we going to do with the rest of the day?" "Hey, why don't we go to..." We then jump to an open area where we see a large sign that reads "PartyWorld." "PartyWorld," Cricket says, finishing her comment, "The coolest theme park on the face of any planet!" "I don't know, Six Flags was pretty cool," Jeff says, "Especially that Batman the Ride thingy." "Who?" Dervish asks. "Nobody," Jeff says. "Well, you'll forget all about Batdork when you go on...The CookieTosser!" Cricket exclaims. "The...what?" Jeff asks. "You'll see," Dervish says, "First how about hoppng on Lightning Road?" "Sounds cool," Jeff says, as the 4 walk to Lightning Road. As they approach it, Jeff sees it as a wooden coaster with a blue track, silver cars, and a super high rise on it. "Woah," Jeff says, "That thing goes way up there!" "Yeah," Glenn says, "250+ feet." "You're kidding!" Jeff exclaims. "Nope," Cricket says, "But that is one of the biggest in the world rises." "Good," Jeff says, "Does everything here blow Earth's stuff away?" "From what you tell us, yes," Cricket says, "Caninus, it's the perfect vacationing spot for people from Earth!" "If only they knew about it..." Jeff says. "Now hold up," Dervish says, "Don't tell any sole where you've been besides Colleen, Mars, or your son. We like this to be our little secret." "Then you've got a deal," Jeff says, as the two enter the backwards portion of the ride.

8:00 PM
Outside Royal Castle, Royal City

"It was fun," Jeff says, "Especially that Cookie Tosser ride." "Quite an adventure, wasn't it?" Glenn says. "Sure was," Jeff replies. "Welp, before you go," Dervish says, as we realize that Jeff's parents aren't there yet, "Cricket and I would like to know if we could join you down on Earth. We've already talked with the Howling Musicians, and they said it was ok with them, and so we'd like to ask if we could be Road Rovers, like you." "Well, first off, I can't usher in new members," Jeff says, "And second, well, what about the presidency Derv? Who would take over?" "I'm sure someone would," Glenn says, pointing to himself. "We've got it all figured out," Cricket says, "Please." "I can't make that decision," Jeff says, "But I will, and I mean will, talk to the Master about it. I guarantee." "Thanks man," Dervish says, shaking his hand. "No problem," Jeff says. Suddenly, out emerge his parents, Atilna and Sherri, followed by a plane behind them, being driven by yet another German Shepherd drok. "Son," Atilna says, "This plane is modeled after a normal one back on Earth. This way you won't feel strange, and neither will anyone else, when you return home." "Good plan," Jeff says, "So I guess this mean's goodbye?" "Son, no matter..." Sherri says, but Jeff interrupts, "You two are obsessed with the Lion King, aren't you?" "Sure are," Sherri says, smiling, "Anyway...no matter where you are, we'll always..." "Be with you," she and Jeff say together, "I know." Jeff then hugs his parents, and shakes hands with his 3 new found friends, winking at Dervish and Cricket, and then boards the plane. As he buckles in, the German Shepherd that pulled it up jumps out, and Jeff watches as his friends and parents wave a long goodbye to him. Jeff then starts up the plane, and it pulls off until it gets near a forest, and takes off into space. Jeff then looks in the rear view mirror, and sees thee planet get smaller, and smaller, until it's the size of a marble in the mirror. "Goodbye mom and dad," he says, as a tear runs down his cheek, and he continues on his way home.

We then see headquarters, silent, which it should be at night, and then we see Colleen in her room, with a crib next to her bed, in which Garrett is in. Then, suddenly, we see a black truck pulling up to the door, and see a bunch of cano-mutants hopping out of the car. Then, we see General Parvo, returning to headquarters, without the Groomer, whom he hasn't seen since his last trip, in which he got the speciesmafier back. "Glenn may have lost up north, Greg may have lost on Caninus, but I will not lose on Earth!" We then see Exile and Blitz in a small room, looking at television cameras showing different places around RRHQ. Exile is currently sleeping, muttering, "Ay ay ay, why did I sign up for being security guard? I'm stuck with Weird Boy all night!" Meanwhile, Blitz, next to him, is on the phone with Star. "Yeah," Blitz says, "I couldn't sleep either." We then go to the split screen thingy, where we see Star in a midnight gown, Blitz in his green Road Rover suit. "It sure is good to be back home though," Star says. "Yeah," Blitz says, "It sure is great." Then, an eerie silence falls over the 2, and Star begins to cry a little. "What is it?" Blitz asks. "Nothing," Star says, wiping away the tear. Meanwhile, with both of their attentions diverted, we see one of the cano-mutants throwing baseballs up at one of the security cameras, until it goes completely black. Blitz and Exile both don't realize this, as Exile continues to talk and Blitz continues to talk on the phone. Parvo then watches as one of the cano-mutants bangs up against the doors, until he remembers that if the door opens, the security alarm would go off, and they'd be caught. So, he motions for the cano-mutant to stop, and processes over to the codeboard. Then, he thinks and thinks and thinks, trying to remember the code Hunter put in months ago, until he finally guesses on something, and a voice says, "Code accepted. Welcome home, Master." All of a sudden, Exile wakes up to the noise in the security room, which is where the voice plays. "Did you hear that...?" Exile asks. "No, what?" Blitz asks, turning away from the phone for a second. "The microphonski! It said the Master was home!" "You sure?" Blitz asks. Suddenly, they hear the front door close, and excitedly, they run out of the security room, and head downstairs to the front door. They then rush down in a hurry, only to see many cano-mutants standing around the stairs, almost mimicking them to go further. "No, go back!" Exile shouts, suprised and scared. But, before they can run away from the army, they feel a ray hit their back, and they stop right where they are on the next to last step, unable to move. "What happened? I'm scared!" Blitz exclaims. "I don't know," Exile says, "It feels like something took all the energy out of me!" Then, 3 cano-mutants each pick them up and take them downstairs, to their leader, General Parvo. "Parvo!" Exile says angrily, "I should've known." "You're coming with me," Parvo says, "And so are the prince and queen." "Garrett and Colleen?!?!?!" Blitz asks. "Exactly," Parvo says, "But first, we're going to give you two a little tune up." "No thanks, I don't need my oil changed," Blitz says. "You're not helping Weird Boy," Exile says, angrily. Suddenly, the two see themselves being led out of headquarters, and into the black truck. "What are you guys doing to us?" Exile asks, "Freeze my brain out?" "What about mine?" Blitz asks. "What brain?" Exile asks. "Nope," the cano-mutant replies, "We're increasing your fiber level quite a bit." "Huh?" Exile asks. Suddenly, he sees Blitz, still devoid of energy, tossed into the speciesmafier, and watches as the machine starts up. The machine then finishes, and we see Blitz...as a piece of bread! "Blitz! You're...bread...?" Exile asks. "This way you'll never tell anybody about us and this machine," a cano-mutant says to the bread, errr, Blitz. Suddenly, one of the cano-mutants picks up the piece of bread (Blitz), and puts it inside his mouth. "Don't eat him!" Exile shouts, "Please don't!! I know I never acted like he was my friend, but I really thought he was pretty cool down inside!! So please don't eat him!" "Either we eat him...or your a piece of bread too," the cano-mutant says. "Promise not to eat me?" Exile asks. "Deal," the cano-mutant says, as he picks up Exile and puts him in the speciesmafier, and puts the piece of bread that we know as Blitz on the ground. Suddenly, just as the machine starts up, Exile busts out of it! He then picks up the piece of bread, and before the cano-mutants can do anything, he takes off with the bread back into headquarters! "What the..." they say, as they chase after him hurriedly. However, Exile shuts the door behind him and locks it shut, and not knowing the code to get in, the cano-mutants are hopeless. However, the 5 other cano-mutants who were inside headquarters pop out of nowhere, all with guns. Seeing them, Exile turns to the bread, and says, "Sorry weird boy," as he freezes the bread, and throws it at the middle cano-mutant's gun, which falls down. The bread also hits the ground, but doesn't break, since it is frozen solid. The bread also grazes the cano-mutants hand, and causes him to grab it for just enough time for Exile to pick up the gun and the piece of bread. He then sees one of the cano-mutants aim at his head, but Exile fires his lazer-eye power at his hand, and then the cano-mutant behind him as well. Seeing the 3 cano-mutants fall, the other 2 cano-mutants run off in fear, as Exile and his piece of bread hurry upstairs, towards Colleen and Garrett. However, as he reaches the top of the stairs, he hears a crashing noise, and suddenly he sees himself and 2 other cano-mutants carrying Colleen and Garrett into the truck they just entered, and, reaching it, pulling away. "Oh no!" Exile says to the piece of bread, "Garrett and Colleen...they've been kidnapped!"

9:17 PM
Still at RRHQ

As we zoom ahead to the night, we see Jeff in his plane, pulling up to the Road Rover shield area that opens to let planes in, which is still broken from the chase in "Family Reunion." Jeff enters, and sees headquarters straight ahead. "I never thought that fire hydrant would be such a welcome sight," Jeff says, "Even though it does look pretty good anyways." As he lands his plane, he hears a rumbling inside headquarters, as if someone is running around it very hurridly. "Did Shag clog the toilet again?" Jeff asks, as he hops out of the plane. As he begins to enter, we head upstairs, where Star is looking out her window. Looking down, she sees the gray greyhound, and immediatley is shocked. "Jeffy? No way!" she screams excitedly. Exile, who was running around headquarters trying to stop Shag from eating the bread (Blitz), suddenly dives at him and grabs the bread out of his hand. "Shagster," Exile says, "This is no mere piece of breadski! It is comerade Blitz!" Shag then rumbles out a phrase. "Good question," Exile says, "But if I let you eat him, Star would kill me!" At this instant, Exile hears Star scream. "Oh boy," Exile says, "Looks like she heard what happened." But, seconds later, Star runs down the stairs 40 mphs, with a smile the size of Texas. "Jeffy's HOME!" she screams, "Can you believe it?" "Comerade Starski, are you sure?" Exile asks. "Well, who else would that be?" Star asks, pointing to the nearest window. Exile then sees a very small greyhound running to the door. "Um, comerade Star, but doesn't that dogeth look a little...small for comerade Jeffrey?" Star then goes to the window, and notices a difference between what she first saw and what she just saw. "Weird," Star says, "Who's that?" Then, all of a sudden, the door bursts open, with Jeff, normal sized, entering. "I'm HOME!" Jeff screams, and immediatley headquarters, which is in a very somber mood, awakes, and everyone comes out to welcome home Jeff. "Jeff! You're finally home!" Star says, giving Jeff a hug, "Where have you been?" "It's a LONG story," Jeff says, "Man Exile, how long has it been? 7 months!" "Yes comerade, it has been a long time," Exile replies, "It is good that you are home, but there is something not so goodski." "What?" Jeff asks, as the other Rovers wave at him, running down the staircase. "Colleen and Garrett are gone! They were here this morning," Exile explains, "But then some badski cano-mutants came along and took them away! Who knows where they are now! And, they turned Blitz into a piece of bread!" Jeff, looking very dejected about the first part, then looks up and says, "What?" "They had this machine, it turned anything into anything!" Exile exclaims. "Another one of those?" Jeff asks. "Huh?" Exile asks. "Oh yeah," Star says, "Muzzle told us all about that. But another..." "So if the cano-mutants had the same machine," Jeff says. "Then Glenn and Parvo are working together!" Star exclaims. "Were," Jeff says, "Thank goodness that Glenn and his cousin, Zack, are permanently locked up in the north." Then, suddenly, the "little" Jeff enters the room with Jeff in mid-sentence. "Jerry?!?!?!?!" Jeff asks/exclaims, "What in the world are you doing here?" "I snuck on," Jerry Weimeraner says, "And by the way, I'm a weimeraner, not a greyhound," he says with a smile. "Hey Jerry, I guess," Star says. "Jerry," Jeff says, motioning him to talk with him for a second away from the group. "How did you get here?" "I snuck aboard your plane when you got on," Jerry explains, "Sorry." "'s ok...but if you're gonna stay here with us, you're gonna have to earn your keep," Jeff explains. "Ok," Jerry says. Jeff then returns to the group, with Jerry right next to him. "This is Jerry Weimeraner, a friend I met while I was away." "Cool," Star says, "But you're gonna have to earn your keep around here. We don't take many freebies." "Don't worry," Jerry replies, "I won't let you down." "Guess we're ready to put him through 'rookie orientation'," Star says, with a smile. "Fresh meat," Rango says, as he and Star exchange a high-five. "So...back to Colleen and Garrett...Exile," Jeff says. "Yes?" Exile replies, ears perking up. "You say that a machine turned Blitz into a piece of bread, and minutes later, Star and Garrett were kidnapped by the same cano-mutants that did that to Blitz, correct?" "That is 100% correct," Exile says. "So with that machine," Jeff thinks, "They could change Colleen and Garrett into anything, right?" "Right," Exile says, "Unfortunatley." As Jeff ponders what Exile has said, he turns to Hunter, who is near the back of the room. "Hunter?" Jeff asks. "Yes Jeff?" Hunter replies. "If you could, get up IRN. See if there's anything on radar...just in case. And Rango?" "Yes mate?" Rango says. "See if you can pick anything up that Colleen says." "I'll try mate," Rango replies, "But after the north, my hearing just isn't what it used to be." "Stick in there Rango," Jeff replies, "We've got to try...for Garrett and Colleen's sake." Hunter, followed by Jeff and the rest of the Rovers, then head to one of the computers to check IRN. "Any messages?" Jeff asks, as Hunter plops down in the computer chair. "Yes, one," Hunter says, "From the midwest. I'll check it after we get the radar up and running." Hunter then hits some buttons and clicks on some windows, until we see a map with a lot of dots in one central place. "That's us at RRHQ," Hunter says. He doesn't see anything for awhile, until he spots one single dot, in the midwest, in Oklahoma. "So they're in Oklahoma," Hunter says, "Welp, I can finally do Letterman again." "Hunter, focus," Julia says. "I just don't know," Hunter says, "I mean, that HAS to be Colleen, but don't you think Parvo's figured out our collar radar system?" "I don't know," Jeff says, "If he does, it's a trap. But we've got to take the risk." "True," Hunter says. He then opens the message from the Big Apple. We then see this, which Hunter reads along with:

Dear Road Rovers,

I spotted a plane of Parvo's flying over a nearby cornfield. I tracked this plane to a solitary warehouse in the state of Oklahoma. Some creatures emerged from outside this place (not human) and let them inside. I thought I noticed one of your own, Colleen, and a small cano-sapien in her arms. Please check into this immediatley.

-Bystander

Suddenly, everyone looks shocked. "Bystander?" Spirit asks, "How did a bystander get on this network?" "I don't know Spirit," Hunter replies, "But we've got to go with what this says. Or else..." Jeff shuts his eyes, not wanting to think of what could happen. Thank goodness for the bystander, whoever he or she is." "Should some of us stay back and protect HQ?" Julia asks. "Yeah," Hunter says, "Let's see...Muzzle, Julia, and the Junior Rovers stay back, the rest of us will take the Power Rover." "We have to stay behind?" Cody asks, dissapointed. "Yup," Hunter says, "We need you all to stay back here, just in case." "What about me?" Jerry asks. "Well..." Hunter says. "Hunter," Jeff replies, "If you tell him not to go, he'll go anyways. Just let him go." "Ok, you can tag along Jerry," Hunter says, "Just don't cause any trouble." "Allright!" Jerry says, clapping Hunter's paw. Jeff then shakes his head, and mumbles, "Him not cause any trouble? That's a prayer if I've ever heard one." Suddenly, Blitz, of all Rovers, runs toward the Rovers, and says, "Where am I?" "Blitz! You're back!" Star says, "Must have been a short time thingy." "Where am I?" Blitz asks again, perturbed. "RRHQ, remember?" Hunter says, waiting to poke fun of him. "Oh yah," Blitz says, "Sorry, I feel like I've been in a coma." "Uh huh, whatever," Hunter says. We then follow the Rovers out the door to the Power Rover, where the Rovers load up. Who? Ok...let me try my best here...Jeff, Hunter, Blitz, Exile, Shag, Rango, Spirit, Star, Xander, and Buddy. How did I remember all those? Just special I guess :). "Jeff, want to pilot?" Hunter asks. "That's ok," Jeff says, "I'm so nervous right now, I'd probably mess up and fly us to Canada." "Not that again," Star says, "Hey, I'm calm and collected, can I drive?" Hunter then chuckles, trying to contain his laughter. "What?" Star asks, "I can fly!" "Sure comerade," Exile says, "I'll fly the plane Hunter." Exile then takes the driver's seat, with Hunter in the front passenger's seat, and everyone else filling in behind. "Let's hit the skies Rovers!" Hunter says. The Rovers then "Aaaaaaaroooo!" loudly. "Boy does it feel good to hear that again," Star says, "I thought I'd heard that for the last time." "No kiddin'," Jeff says, "I never thought I'd miss this as much as I did." "Well, when you're in negative degree weather with a -50 degree wind chill, you start to miss home JUST a little bit." "JUST a little," Spirit agrees. We then see the plane continuing to rise, on it's way to Oklahoma. We then zoom ahead to Oklahoma, where we see a formely abandoned building, now with flickering lights shining inside and aircraft and vehicles around it. We then go inside, where we see, that's right, Colleen and Garrett, tied up to two columns inside the building, side-by-side. Currently, they are all alone. "Mommy, I'm scared," Colleen says. "It's ok Garrett," Colleen replies, "I'm sure the Rovers are on their way to rescue us." However, right as she says this, the door flings open, and approaching them is the person they least want to see right now, General Parvo. "Why hello there Queen Colleen and Prince Garrett," he says, "Are you ready for your royal tea and crumpets?" "Listen Parvo," Colleen says, "You can take my life, but don't hurt Garrett...please don't hurt him!" "Silence," Parvo says, in a commanding voice, "You are my subjects now. You will obey me." "And how are you going to do that?" Colleen asks. Suddenly, Parvo points to that machine again, yup, the one that turned Blitz into a loaf of bread, which is now located inside the warehouse. "Does this look familar?" he asks, showing it off to them. "That's the speciesmafier Greta told us about," Colleen says, "The one that can change anything into anything else." "Basically," Parvo says, "So, it could change you into anything else as well." "I assume so," Colleen says. "Wait a second," Parvo says, recalling the name that Colleen said, "Greta? She's working for you now? No wonder she hasn't been around here for a while." Colleen doesn't know what to say, so she says nothing. "And the Groomer? I suppose she's working for you too." "No," Colleen says, "I haven't seen the Groomer in forever. Why are we here? Why did you take us to the middle of nowhere?" "Because it's a nice, quiet place," Parvo replies, "For the ending of a reign, and the beginning of a new one." "What does that mean?" Colleen asks. "Well, since the Groomer isn't here, why don't we make her be here," Parvo says, staring at the machine, and then Colleen. "Hold on a sec, you're going to put me in that speciesmawusit, and turn me into the Groomer?" Colleen asks for clarification. "Exactly," Parvo says, "Exactly." "This is not me cup of tea," Colleen replies. "But, if you are willing to fulfill our orders...we will make sure that your son is spared," Parvo adds. "If it means my son's life, then I'll do anything," Colleen replies. "Goodie," Parvo says. Suddenly, three cano-mutants enter the warehouse, and head towards the speciesmafier. "Get it ready dogs," Parvo says, "My queen awaits." Suddenly, there more cano-mutants appear from outside, enter the door, and untie Colleen, leading her towards the speciesmafier at the other end of the warehouse. Parvo then unties Garrett, and, suprisingly, pets him on the head, and leads him behind his mother. "What should we call you," Parvo thinks aloud, "How about Parvil, or Parvin, or Parv?" Colleen then catches Parvo saying this. "But you said..." "I said Garrett would be spared," Parvo says, "Did I break my promise?" "Well..." Colleen starts, but then Parvo says, "No, we aren't harming a hair on his body...we're just changing him, a little." Garrett, meanwhile, is struggling to get free of Parvo's grasp, but Parvo continues to hold him tight. "The one thing I've always wanted," Parvo says, "A family that will dominate the world together!" Suddenly, we head outside the warehouse, and see the Rovers nervously flying towards the warehouse. Exile is flying, with the rest behind. They are currently going through, you guessed it, turbulent weather. "Welp, you comerades better buckle your seat belts or we're gonna have some flying dogs in a minute!" he exclaims. "Colleen isn't here, so I'll make sure to buckle my seat belt," Jeff says, remebering the incident from "Jeff and the Jefferson." Suddenly, the turbulent weather clears, and just as it does, one of the computers on board starts to print out something. "What's going on back there?" Hunter asks Star, who is closest to the computer. "It's an IRN message, says VERY URGENT." Hunter then hops out of his seat, as do all the Rovers but Exile, and read the following:

"Dear Rovers,

A very bad situation is about to occur in this warehouse. We overheard Parvo talking about transforming Colleen into the Groomer and the young cano-sapien, who we identified as Colleen's son, prince Garrett, into Parvo's son. This is going to happen any minute now...so please try and get here as soon as you can."

-Bystanders

"My gawd, did I read that right?" Spirit says, "Colleen is being turned into the Groomer? What's wrong with the real one?" Suddenly, Jeff walks away to his seat, and covers his face in his paws. Hunter then walks over to him. "You ok Jeff?" Hunter asks. "No," Jeff says, "How could Parvo do this to us, just how? He goes around kidnapping us...we've got to put a stop to this for once and for all. All these bad guys seem to be affiliated cause they all use the same things to try and stop us. I ran into this same machine up north, in...far away, and back here in the U.S. There's got to be a way to stop them." "Well...we've got to think up something really quick, that's for sure," Hunter says. We then head back down to near the warehouse, where we see Parvo, walking back dejected to the door of the warehouse, followed by Colleen and Garrett and the cano-mutants. "How could there be a glitch in the system? I thought you all programmed it to run perfectly?" Parvo asks. The cano-mutants shrug their shoulders, not sure either. Suddenly, we see two cano-sapiens outside the warehouse, looking in on this whole situation, one a male, part wolf/quarter Alaskan Husky/quarter Siberian Husky, the other a female Japanese Spitz. "So it worked," the Japanese Spitz says. "Thank...goodness," the male replies, "I was worried there for a minute." The two then go to a corner of the warehouse, where we see a laptop computer that they stole from inside lying on the ground. "Do you know how much trouble we're in if they find out were here?" the Japanese Spitz replies, "I mean, first, we break into there and steal a computer, second, we sneak in there late last night and transform ourselves from dogs to cano-sapiens so we can help save Colleen and Garrett, and then 3rd, you break into the IRN and tell the Rovers what's happening here." "I'm good, aren't I?" the male replies, "Just kidding." Suddenly, the Power Rover flies over head. We then head up inside the Power Rover, where we see Exile and Hunter, along with the other Rovers, looking for any sign of a warehouse in the middle of nowhere. "There it is!" Exile says, "Right there!" "You sure that's right mate?" Rango asks. "It has to be Rango, it has to be," Exile says, "What do you think Jeffy?" "This is the place, I know it," Jeff says. Suddenly, Star pulls another paper out of the printer, and reads it aloud:

"Dear Rovers,

You are right above us. We secretly entered one of Parvo's computers and put a temporary glitch in the system so the speciesmafier would not operate. Colleen and Garrett are inside the building, so don't barnstorm it down. Please secretly land in the woods to your right and we will meet you there.

Thanks,

Ricky and Alethia

Quickly, Exile manuevers the plane towards the nearby woods, and settles the plane right behind a cluster of trees, not knocking any down, but keeping the plane out of sight from the warehouse. "Ok," Hunter says, "We're going to have to rescue Colleen and Garrett very soon, but the important thing right now is to meet Ricky and Alethia." Suddenly, we see the two cano-sapiens right outside the plane. Hunter then opens the door, allowing them to enter. "Thanks so much for what you did, even if you broke into the IRN," Hunter says. "Hey, it's all for a good cause," Ricky replies. "True," Hunter says. As soon as the two appear, a flood of questions comes out from the Rovers, like "Are they allright?" and "How are you transdogmafied?" Alethia then raises her paws in a quieting motion, and then begins to talk: "Ok, ok, calm down everybody. What happened is this. We're 2...married, happily married (turns to Ricky and smiles) dogs from out here in the midwest. When we spotted these planes flying towards that broken down warehouse, we investigated, and found out the reports that we told you through the IRN. The first night we snuck in to the warehouse and changed ourselves into cano-sapiens so that we could communicate with you. Right now, everything is fine...but Colleen and Garrett are still in captivity...and Parvo is still waiting his chance to create his own royaly family." "So Colleen and Garrett are both fine, right?" Jeff asks, just wanting to make sure. "They are doing fine," Ricky adds, "But we've got to take a stand now...before it's too late." "So what are you planning on doing?" Spirit asks Ricky. "Well, I really don't have a clue," Ricky says, "Alethia?" "Well," Alethia starts, "We could try to short-circuit the system and see if that would work." "No, no, no," Jeff says, "That's not going to work now! We don't have any time! We've got to get Colleen and Garrett out of there, or their lives are in danger. Ricky, how long is this glitch going to hold up?" "I'd say they probably won't be able to fix it for another 30 to 45 minutes," Ricky replies, "It's nothing major, they should be able to work through it." "Then we've got to do something NOW," Jeff says. "I've got an idea," Spirit says, "Why don't we send Ricky and Alethia in there, since Parvo doesn't know that they are Road Rovers, and have them rescue Colleen and Garrett!" "It sounds good," Hunter says, "But we can't just send them in there and say, 'Hey, we aren't Road Rovers, so, can we take these Road Rovers off your hands?' or anything. Parvo may be evil, but he's not dumb." "I know," Spirit says, "What I mean is, we could send them in there when Parvo is away, and have them kidnap two cano-mutants, force them to mess up the mutatoromagigy, and..." "Hold on, hold on," Alethia says, "Kidnap TWO CANO-MUTANTS? I know it's around Christmas time kid, but you're asking for a miracle." "She's right," Ricky says, "That's almost impossible." "But it is a good idea to send you guys in there," Jeff says, "Parvo will be more welcoming to a couple of cano-sapiens he doesn't know rather than us. Here's my idea. We send Ricky and Alethia in there when Parvo is out of that room, have them break a window or something, and immediatley a bunch of cano-mutants will go there." "Uh, Jeffy, I like being alive..." Ricky says. "Hold on," Jeff replies, "And don't call me Jeffy. Since Ricky seems to know this speciesmafier pretty well from his work on the computer, he'll run to the controls before the cano-mutants arrive. Then, when you guys are set, we'll send in some of our own to "distract" the cano-mutants. Then you guys can destroy the speciesmafier. Think it'll work?" "It sounds good to me," Star says. "Yah," Blitz agrees, "I am ready to kick some cano-mutant tail!" "So who's willing to go in after Alethia and Ricky?" Jeff asks. Suddenly, the plane falls silent, except for Blitz, who is raising his hand empahtically. "Ok...Blitz and..." Jeff says. "I'll go mate," Rango says. "Rango...myself," Jeff says, volunteering himself. "We'll go," Star says, pointing to herself and Spirit, "We didn't forget to bring our weapons!" "Oh yes," Hunter says, "The almighty mind controlling gun and the almighty super sticky silly string gun (which is compatible to the sleeping gas gun)!" (thanks Spirit :)) "And I bet your tennis ball gun is SO much better than ours'," Spirit says. "It is, and I will show you," Hunter says, "I'm in." "Blitz, Rango, myself, Spirit, Star, and Hunter, 6, that should work," Jeff says. "So should we take off?" Alethia asks. "Yes," Jeff says, "Hunter, you're the leader." "Ok, Alethia and Ricky, take the laptop and head towards the building, the "distractors," follow me, and as for the rest..." Hunter then pulls a walkie-talkie out, and hands it to Exile. "Keep watch," Hunter says, "We're going to have to know when Parvo is out of that building so we'll have time to save Colleen and Garrett." "Gotcha comerade," Exile says through the walkie-talkie. The Rovers then take their positions quickly, not wanting to waste a single second. We now join Ricky and Alethia. "They seem pretty nice," Alethia says, "A little weird, but..." "Yeah," Ricky says, "But they're cool." "No cute girl dogs you like, right?" Alethia asks, just wanting to make sure. "Naw," Ricky replies, "You know you're my one and only." Alethia smiles. "So when do we know when to go in?" Alethia asks. "Hunter told me to wait for a signal from him," Ricky says, "He wants to be absolutely sure Parvo's out of there before he sends us in." "Good idea," Alethia adds, "This is already a big gamble, let's not try and make it a bigger one." Suddenly, we jump back to Exile's neck of the woods, and find him looking through a pair of binoculars in the warehouse. Suddenly, he spots Parvo, as well as Colleen and Garrett, who are being followed by a bunch of cano-mutants. He can't hear what they're saying, but he sees them being led...outside, right towards the 6 Road Rovers. Filled with nervous excitement, Exile picks up the walkie-talkie and yells, "BOGIE! PARVO AND CANO-MUTANTS ON THEIR WAY OUT BUILDING! HIDE!" Hearing this, Hunter tells the gang quickly what Exile said, and as fast as they can, they run to different hiding places. Spirit, Star, and Jeff choose a hay stack near the door Parvo is about to exit, Hunter runs speedingly towards Exile and the gang, and Rango and Blitz join Ricky and Alethia by the window, which is a spot where they can't be seen either. "We're going to move this transformation," Parvo says, "I can't trust having it here with Road Rovers around." "They're here?" Colleen asks. "Shush," Parvo says, "The last thing I need is them foiling my plans." Suddenly, a tennis ball is fired in the direction of Parvo, and lands at his feet. "How odd," Parvo says. But, immediatley as he picks it up, it sends out a gas that knocks him out, along with everyone around him, including Colleen and Garrett, and the cano-mutants! Seeing this, the 6 emerge, and as they do, Hunter speeds up. "Sorry for knocking them out, Jeff," Hunter says, "But this way we can get them to the ship out of harm's way. Now it's up to getting rid of that machine." "That's cool and all," Jeff says, "But how long will they be out?" "15 minutes tops," Hunter says, "It isn't that strong of a gas. Don't worry, they'll be fine soon enough." Hunter then picks up Colleen and slings her body over his shoulder, and puts Garrett in his arms, and takes off running again. Seconds later, he is back. "They're in the ship safe and sound," Hunter says, "The other Rovers are guarding the Power Rover now." "Good," Jeff says, "Now...for that" he says, pointing to the speciesmafier. As he says this, they hear a window break, and see Alethia, Ricky, Rango, and Blitz climbing through. "Looks like they're going to take care of it," Hunter says. But, right as he says this, Parvo and company awake, since the broken glass was enough to snap them out of their trance. Noticing them, Hunter gasps and takes off running, with Jeff behind. Suddenly, Jeff stops, and decides to take matters into his own hands. "It's now or never," Jeff says, turning to the on-coming cano-mutants (there are 2 of these) and Parvo. But, suddenly, one of the cano-mutants bowls over Parvo and the other, and runs off away from the house. Jeff then turns to the hay stack, and sees Star's mind controller gun peeking out. With this simple distraction, Jeff is able to get in the house as well, and join the others. "They're on their way," Jeff alerts the 5 Rovers, "We better do something...fast." Suddenly, they hear the door burst open, and see Parvo holding one of their own: Spirit. "Spirit!" Hunter shouts. "Hunter!" Spirit replies, "Help me!" "Surrender Rovers," Parvo says, "Or Spirit gets it." Suddenly, Star flies from out of nowhere through the window, and points her gun straight at Parvo. "Put Spirit down," Star says, "Or you'll be remembered as good samaritan Parvo." Suddenly, Parvo pulls out a gun, and says, "And you were saying?" As the two have a standoff, Ricky begins to work on the controls. Parvo, seeing him, fires a shot his way, but misses, hitting the computer monitor instead. Star then returns the favor, but misses as well. The glass then shatters right on Ricky's head, leaving him scarred. Seeing Ricky bleeding, Alethia says, "That's it!!!" She then speeds right at Parvo, jumps at him, and right as she is about to punch him in the face, a cano-mutant dives at her, and tackles her to the ground. "I've got to get a time increase on this mind-controller-a-gig," Star says, noticing the cano-mutant as the one that she mind-controlled minutes ago. Meanwhile, the Rovers at the ship decide to check out what's going on. "They should be back by now," Buddy says, "I don't feel comfortable about this." "Yeah," Xander adds, "The last thing I want is my sister to get hurt." "Forget your sister," Buddy replies, "I'm talking about my wife!" "Think we should go check on 'em?" Hunter asks. "Definetly," Exile says, "Our comerades could be hurt." "Good idea," Hunter says, "I'll stay back, you guys go on ahead." The Rovers then head quickly towards the warehouse. Meanwhile, Hunter enters the plane, to see Colleen and Garrett awaking from their short slumber. "You guys ok?" Hunter asks. "Yes," Colleen says, "But where's Jeffy?" "He'll be here as soon as he can," Hunter replies, reassuringly, "Just taking care of some unfinished business." We then head back to the warehouse, where there is still a standoff between Star and Parvo, and a number of cano-mutants have joined Parvo in his cause. Mumbling under her breath, Star says, "I wish these walls would just crumble on 'em." Suddenly, there is a loud noise from above, and instantly, the ceiling falls flat on Parvo and the cano-mutants! Stunned, the Rovers look with their mouths wide open at this event. "How'd that happen?" Ricky asks. "I controlled the ceiling!" Star shouts, "When I missed Parvo, I hit the ceiling! I controlled it!" "So you can control non-living things as well?" Jeff asks. "Guess so," Star says, "Man, this gun is cooooOOOOOOOooool!" "Very cooooooooOOOOOOOOOoooool," Ricky says, "But what about Spirit and Alethia?" Through this all, the Rovers had forgotten their 2 comerades on that side of battle. Now seeing the rubble that lie there, Star realizes what she has done. "I forgot all about them! I'm sorry!!!!" But, suddenly, Alethia and Spirit appear from out of the doorway to another room. "We barely saved ourselves," Spirit says, "We took off right when the baddies were disturbed by the rumbling...and it looks like it paid off." Star, relieved, brushing her forehead with her paw and says "Phew." "The walls must have known what I meant when I said guys," Star says, with a smile, "And thank goodness they did." Suddenly, Ricky turns to the Rovers, and says, "8 minutes and 47 seconds til this building, and this machine, go kaputz." "Hooray for Ricky!" the Rovers say, since the last of the speciesmafiers is almost gone.

RRHQ

(Jeff narrates the last part): And so I guess it's better to have luck on your sides sometimes. Who knows what would've happened had Star not said the words she did...but you really have to give her the credit for staring down Parvo all that time, keeping him from hurting us. On Wednesday, July 1st, Colleen, myself, and Garrett were re-instated as queen and king, and Garrett was introduced as prince. The best news though, came on Tuesday, July 7th, when the Master returned to us. He said he'd been at a place far away from here, and I figured out where he meant. Also on Tuesday, we welcomed in, that's right, 4 new Road Rovers. Alethia and Ricky's bravery in the field of battle more than quailfied them to become the 14th and 15th Road Rovers (counting Muzzle). The 16th and 17th were my two good friends, Cricket and Dervish, who helped me through those times far away from here. The 7th Junior Rover was welcomed in as well...that's right...Jerry Weimeraner. He stayed in the ship the whole time in Oklahoma, but since he stoawayed this far, we couldn't let him go far. We also introduced 3 Rovers into the new Road Rover Hall of Fame. First introduced was Hunter for his great work as our leader. Second was Star, for her bravery in Oklahoma, and third was Colleen, who overcame so much to be back home again. They all received a bronzed dog dish. Sure, I may not be there yet...but heck, there's always next year. On Friday, July 10th, the last of the speciesmafiers was destroyed, right here at Road Rover Head Quarters. But, before it was, a few things happened. I am now 100% cano-sapien, drok, whatever, since that annoying human hair at the top of my head is gone. Guess I don't need to wear caps anymore. And the transdogmafication that failed, Muzzle's, was corrected. Muzzle is now a drok, just like us (though not by birth), which he always wanted to be. But wait a second, wasn't he great as a reckless force of nature? Well, he can always turn back into a dog...now he can become a cano-sapien when he wants to, thanks to the change by the speciesmafier. An interesting occurence though was that the creation of the fake Road Rover Greta actually caused the other one to disappear. Since they were so much alike, Greta became Greta, and she became the 18th Road Rover on this day. 18...and to think...when I joined it was only 7. And there probably are more of us out there who got fooled into going on that trip when we were so young. Hey, knowing that helps me face every day as a Road Rover. You never know what you're going to get each day. This adventure in Oklahoma proved that. Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm going to kick Ricky's butt at Madden '99.

'Til next time, this is Jeff, saying...

THE END

Thanks for reading the "To The Power of the Pack Series!" I hope you enjoyed this trip that brought Jeff, Colleen, Star, Spirit & Co. back home. Just a reminder that coming soon will be the Road Rover Christmas Special and Road Rover Bowl II, with a story possibly between the two. Thanks again for reading, and have a good day!
