THE MASKED K-9 (EDITED VERSION)

EPISODE #19

After the theme song, the show begins with a picture of the RRHQ, and two roads that lead to it, one from Junior Rover Headquarters (don't forget the Junior RRs!), and one to a supply area for the Junior Rovers and Road Rovers, that also serves as a construction site for new Road Rover vehicles and weapons. Then, suddenly, a large jeep is shown on the road leading from the Rover supply area. Then, we get a close up of the jeep, and we realize that it is not only a Road Rover vehicle, but a vehicle belonging to General Parvo, since this is printed on the back, "Gen Par Co." The jeep then arrives right outside the RRHQ, and very suddenly, out jump 12 cano-mutants, armed with guns of all sorts. Then, out comes the Groomer from the passenger front seat, and then General Parvo, from the driver's seat.

"Gen'ral," the Groomer says, obviously anxious to tell Parvo something.

"Not now," Parvo replies, "You know how much this means to me. Finally, I can defeat these Road Rovers, by not only taking away their leader, which I already did, but the Master as well."

"Oh yes, Gen'ral, I know how much it means to you," the Groomer replies, "And then, we could have, complete world domination!"

"My three favorite words," Parvo replies, joyously, "And now, our secret weapon! Hunter!" he calls.

And then, out from the jeep, pops a raging mad Hunter, who has drool visible on his jaw.

"You ready?" Parvo asks.

"Reved up and ready to go," Hunter says.

"As always, my best subject!" Parvo says. "Now, do you remember the plan?"

"I remember every last detail," Hunter replies, "And I know the two main objectives. Kidnap the Master, and steal the speciesmifier."

"I love having you," the Master says, as he past Hunter on the head.

"Don't get too mushy on me," Hunter says.

"It's just the moment," Parvo says, "So much is going to happen for us so quickly!"

"Then let's get it done!" Hunter says. He punches in his code number used to unlock the door to his room and to the RRHQ front door, but this fails. "Access denied," the little screen on the number board reads.

"Well, that's one thing about these guys, they're smart," Hunter says.

He then recalls one of the codes he was provided, since the Master told him almost everything. As he enters it, the board reads, "Access Granted," and the doors swing open. Then, Hunter moves quietly yet quickly down the halls, waiting to capture everything he has been told to. Then, he walks through the empty restaurant area, and then turn left, and stops at a door that reads, "No Admittace Unless Requirement From The Master." Hunter ignore this, and breaks right through the locked door. He then sees in front of him a hazy area, that contains two devices that look very similar to the transdogmafier.

"Still here," Hunter says with delight, "But let me see if it works first."

He then walks over to a nearby computer, and types in some words, unseen by the screen. Immediatley, the different transdogmafiers light up, showing that they are read for transformation. Hunter then hops in, and a huge flash of flight comes out of the transformer. Also, there seems to be more energy being sent into the transformer, too much energy for us to see what is happening. And then, instantly, it all stops. But, instead of Hunter coming out in his dog form, out comes a fully grown man with brown hair and glasses.

"It works!" the man says, in a very different voice from Hunter, "And it's all mine! My ticket to world domination! Not Parvo, not Groomer, not anybody, but me, Hunter! The speciesmafier, is mine!" He then goes back in the speciesmafier, and turns himself back into his normal dog form.

"Now, my plans," Hunter says, emphasising the me, as he has been lately. He then walks behind the computer, and pulls up a large microchip from the back. "The thing that makes the speciesmafier work!" he says. "Now, next job."   (time to make fun of old self.  Was I trying to be funny here?  Is there possibly such a thing as a large microchip?  I’m starting to think I sniffed some paint before I wrote this)

Meanwhile, in Jeff's bedroom, Rango had been awaken by the noise of the broken door. At first he had thought it was only the wind or something, but then he heard footsteps right by his door! He then scrambles for the phone, and calls Jeff.

"Jeff!" Rango calls, in a half-whisper.

"What? I'm sleepy," Jeff replies, groggily and half asleep.

"I hear footsteps," Rango replies.

"It's probally just somebody in Japan. It's 3:00 in the afternoon right now," Jeff replies, "Go back to sleep."

"But it sounded so close, mate," Rango says, "Like it was right here in headquarters."

"Probally just Blitz sleep walking," Jeff replies, now wide awake, "Last night, he fell down the stairs to the vehicle area and woke up in the Jet Rover! He's one weird boy!"

"It just didn't sound good," Rango replies, "I know this is silly, but it sounded like Hunter when I heard someone talking."

"Normally, I would say it was just a dream," Jeff replies, "But with you I'm not so sure. I mean, you can hear anything. Maybe we should go investigate."

"Let's," Rango replies. The two then meet nearby, since their rooms are very close, and with flashlights, they follow the way that Rango said the footsteps went. Meanwhile, we jump to Hunter, who is approaching the Master's roon. Once he arrives there, he gently opens the door, and Muzzle spots him. Of course, Muzzle knows little of why Hunter left, and is very happy to see him again. Hunter acts like he has returned for good purposes. "Good boy," Hunter whispers, "Have you missed me?" Muzzle replies with a nod. "Me too," Hunter replies, "Let me just talk with the Master." Hunter meanwhile slips the huge microchip into a pocket, so Muzzle won't suspect anything. He then apporaches the Master, and stops right in front of the bed. He then taps on his shoulder. The Master then awakes. "Hunter?" the Master asks, as he rubs his eyes, "Is that you?" Then, suddenly, Hunter raises the gigantic microchip over his head, and slams down it on the Master's head. The impact sends him unconscious. "He'll be okay," Hunter says, "Not like I killed him or anything." Muzzle, meanwhile, had not noticed this, since he was fast asleep. With the Master in his arms and the gigantic microchip in his pocket, Hunter quickly walks to the front of the RRHQ, where he knows Parvo and the Groomer are waiting. But, as he gets there, he sets the Master down right outside of the front door, and speeds off running, using his super speed. Suddenly, Jeff and Rango approach the front, where they see the fire. "He went that a way!" Jeff calls, as the two are "hot" on the trail (pun intended. And I apologize to you guys for the violence, but it will end soon. I need it for the story.). Hunter then speeds down the stairs to the area where the Road Rover planes are, and right as he s about to get in, he sees a familiar face. Blitz!! However, Blitz is asleep, yet walking. Sleep walking!! Hunter then sees him, as he tries to go down the stairs. What if he falls? Then he will wake up and he won't be able to make a safe getaway! So, Hunter hurries up the steps, pushes Blitz back in, and locks the door. Hunter then goes back down the stairs, and pulls out his keys to the Sky Rover. "They forgot to take these babies away!" Hunter says. He then turns the key, and it starts up fine. Meanwhile, Parvo and the Groomer had caried Master to the jeep, and were waiting for Hunter to appear with the microchip to the speciesmafier. "WHere is he?" Parvo asks. "Maybe it just took him some time," the Groomer says. "He should be out already. I'm worried that he might betray us," Parvo admits. "Oh, I wouldn't worry about that," the Groomer says, "He's so loyal!" But then, suddenly, they see the Sky Rover fly out of the take off area. "That's him!" Parvo shouts excitedly, "I know it! He betrayed us! Fortunatley, I have something for a situation like this." Parvo then runs to the jeep, and pulls out a gun, with an arrow pointing out of it. He then fires at the Sky Rover, and a net flies out. The net then catches Hunter in the Sky Rover, and its suprisingly large weight pulls him down. Down, down he falls, until the plane hits the ground with a thundering crash. "No one betrays me," Parvo says. He then hops in the jeep, instructs the Groomer to get in, and as she does, he drives off. Meanwhile, inside the RRHQ, there is a lot of confusion. Jeff and Rango are currently walking down a hall, nearing the stairs to the Road Rover plane area, when they spot Blitz, lying there, awake and confused. "Blitz, were you sleep walking again?" Jeff asks. "I guess so," Blitz says, "I am deep sleeper, you know." "I know," Rango replies, "You seem to always wind up in these predicaments." "I can't help it!" Blitz says, "I'm pretty much just doomed." Then, Rango hears the crash of the plane, that he didn't hear take off, due to the confusion, and "tuning out." "What was that?" Rango asks. "Yeah, what was it?" Blitz asks, "It sounded loud." "Like a crash or something," Jeff says. The three then head to the nearest window, and look outside, where they see a jeep speeding towards something. "Look over there!" Blitz shouts. Instantly, the three see the fallen plane. "The Sky Rover!!" Jeff and Rango say at the same time. "But why is it on the ground like that?" Blitz asks, "It looks destroyed." "Hunter!!" Jeff and Rango say instantly, "But why would Parvo and the Groomer do something like that?" Jeff asks. "I do not know, mates," Rango replies, "I think we better investigate." "That's not a bad idea," Jeff says, "Maybe the crash gives Hunter amnesia, and we can convince him that he was a Road Rover the whole time!" "Or hopefully he's so hurt that he'll leave Parvo and come to us," Blitz says. "Or else, he's gone," Rango says, "I hope I'm wrong." "Me too," Jeff says, "Let's go." The three then head down the stairs throught the vehicle exit, where they notice that almost all of the tires have been slashed inside. "He made quick work out of turning Headquarters into chaos," Rango observes. "He sure did," Jeff says, "Like no one else can." The show then jumps back to the fallen Sky Rover, where Parvo and the Groomer see Hunter lying there, covered with blood. "He's dead," Parvo says, "Completely dead. Serves him right." "I just don't think you should be so violent to your loyal subjects," the Groomer replies, "It's too evil, even for you!" "I wouldn't be so gruesome usually, but this is what happens to anyone who betrays me," Parvo says. "I never will then," the Groomer says. Parvo then sets Hunter's body down on the ground, and searches for the large microchip, that he finds in his pocket. He then pulls it out, and says, "Here it is! Let's leave!" The two then jump in the jeep and drive off. Meanwhile, Jeff, Rango, and Blitz are fast approaching, and soon they spot Hunter lying very still. "Woah," Blitz says, covering his eyes, "What am injury!!" "He looks near death, or there," Jeff comments. "We better take him inside," Rango suggests. "Are you crazy?" Blitz asks, "What if he attacks us?" "After this, I think what we really have to worry about is restoring him to his normal condition," Jeff says, "We should take him in." "Allright, allright," Blitz agrees, "but if he attacks once, he's gone." "Deal," Rango says, as the three struggle to carry him in. The screen then shows the horizon over ground, as the moon sets and sun rises, signalling the start of morning. The show then goes to a room, where Professor Hubert is trying to make Hunter better. We then see three very tired Rovers, Jeff, Blitz, and Rango, waiting patciently. "How's it coming, Proffessor?" Jeff asks. "Slowly but surely," Proffessor Hubert replies, "He's getting better." "Will he live?" Rango asks, "Apparently, yes. But it will take some time for him to heal. We also better keep him under supervision, in case he turns on us." "He might," Jeff says, "But after what I saw, he's alot better off staying here. Poor guy, wasn't even his fault!" "They just brain warped him!" Hubert says, "And the impact of that crash may be enough for him to forget about that." "We just can hope," Jeff says. "We need our heart and soul back, or we will all fall apart." "True," Rango agrees. "One of you go inform the Master of the situation," Hubert says, "We need to inform him." "I will," Jeff says, as he walks out the door to the Master's room. But, as he rounds a corner, he hears a loud, "Booo!" and then sees Colleen jump out at him. "Hey Colleen," Jeff says, "Have a good night's sleep?" "No, not really," Colleen says, as the two dogs walk together, "I heard a lot of racket. It was really strange." "You don't know how strange," Jeff says. "How strange?" Colleen asks. "I'll tell you soon," Jeff replies. Jeff then reaches the door, and opens it. Then, as soon as he opens it, Muzzle hops out ferociously at him, and knocks him down, until he realizes who it is, and he hops up. "Muzzle! Take it easy!" Colleen says. "Why'd you do that fella?" Jeff asks. Muzzle then lets out a series of grunts and groans, that Colleen and Jeff have come to understand. "The Master was kidnapped?" Colleen and Jeff ask, "By Hunter?" Muzzle then nods his head. "But how'd Hunter get here?" Colleen asks. "It's a long story," Jeff replies, "So, if Hunter captured him, he must have been hurt as well." "What are you talking about?" Colleen asks. "Just a second," Jeff says, as he runs off towards the plane. When he gets there, he sees nothing but the wrecked plane and crimson red blood. "Parvo must have got him!" Jeff says, "That rises the stakes even more!" Jeff then runs back to Colleen, and tells her to come with him. "Right behind you!" Colleen says. The two then race to Proffessor Hubert's labratory, where the two enter. Colleen then spots the body of Hunter. "Oh my goodness!" she says. "It's okay," Jeff says, holding her, "We took him in because of a plane crash caused by Parvo and the Groomer. He looked near death, but he's improving." "Well, that is good news," Colleen says, "Hopefully he will be all right." "But the perosn we need to track down is Parvo," Jeff says, "He has the Master!" "This is even worse than I thought!" Colleen says. "Sure is," Blitz says. "I say we head after him," Jeff says, "And one of us can stay with the other Rovers, Proffessor Hubert, and Hunter." "I'll do that," Rango says. "Allright," Jeff says, "We'll return with the Master!" "Hope so!" Hubert says nervously as the three go out the door. "Brave dogs," he comments. "Very brave," Rango replies, "Let's just hope." "I can do that," Hubert says. The three then head down the stairs together, and Jeff once again sees the vehicles with their tires slashed. "We have to find a plane we can use!" Jeff says. Blitz then walks far back, to one they've never seen before. "What about this one?" Blitz asks, "It looks like it can go pretty fast." "With your judgement Blitz, it porbally couldn't brake 30!" Colleen jokes. "Hey!" Blitz says. "Easy on the jokes Colleen," Jeff replies, "We're on a very important mission. And actually I agree with Blitz. It looks pretty powerful." "Yeah, yeah, let's take it!" Blitz whines. "Allright!" Colleen says, giving up. "Yay!" Blitz says, "Let me drive!" "I think I will, thank you," Jeff says. "Allright, fine, but I get to next time!" Blitz says. "Okay Blitz, deal," Jeff says, as he pulls out his key to all of the planes (it makes it easier to have 1 key instead of 20). He then puts the key in, and the plane starts up, "grrrriinng" loudly. "Starts well," Jeff says. "Like a dream," Blitz replies. "Calm down, FluffyPants!" Colleen says, sitting in the front passenger seat, while Blitz sits in the 2nd row driver's seat. "I just like new planes! They're so cool!" Blitz says. Jeff then chuckles, as he flies the plane out of the takeoff area. "I'll fly low for awhile," Jeff says, "That way we can view Parvo and the Groomer." Then, Jeff quicly notices a flash of red speeding past some dirt hills of New Mexico, way ahead of him. "That's Parvo!" Jeff exclaims, "I can sense it." He then speeds the plane fast ahead, right at Parvo. Then, right as he is in viewing distance, the whole terrain around him changes. No longer is it a desert, but now it is a tropical land full of vegetation. "Aaaaahh!" Blitz screams, as the plane flies throught the land, until it crash lands into a tree.

-----------------------------------First Commercial Break-------------------------------------

The show returns with the plane stuck inbetween two trees. "Great driving Jeffy!" Colleen jokes. "What happened?" Jeff asks, confused, "One second, were in the middle of a desert, and then suddenly, were in a tropical environment. You talk about strange!" "Maybe it's one of those super speed planes!" Blitz suggests. "Well, we aren't accomplishing anyone sitting around here," Jeff explains, "Let's go out and explore this place!" Jeff then opens then door, and when they do, they immediatley hear the blast of guns. But these are in the air, nowhere near them. "Duck!" Jeff shouts anyway, as the three hit the dirt, in time to see three jets fly overhead, following a bigger plane. "Wonder what's going on?" Colleen asks. "I have no earthly," Jeff replies. Then, out of a speaker placed on a nearby tree they hear this: "For all drok warriors, be sure to meet tonight after the battle stops for a special showing of Ferris Bueller's Day Off, that just came out on video today. Be there or be square." "Ferris Bueller just came out on video?" Jeff asks, "It was made in 1986." "So it probally came out on video in 1987," Blitz says, "Must be an error." "Definetly," Colleen replies, "But what about that thing about 'drok warriors'?" she asks. "I've never heard anything about that." "You know, the word 'drok' seems somehow familiar," Jeff says, "Like I know it from somewhere. Somewhere special. Somehwere unique." "I have the same feelings," Colleen replies. "Not me," Blitz says, "The word just sounds weird to me." "Everything about you is weird, Fluffypants," Colleen says. "You just can't stop teasing me, can you?" Blitz asks. "Of course not, it's too fun!" Colleen replies, as Blitz hits his head. Jeff then leads the three through a clearing, trying to find something. Then, suddenly, they come to a clearing, and Jeff remembers a very similar clearing. "This is just like Royal Dog Isle!" he remarks. "It is very similar," Colleen says. But, instead of two territories, there are two large millitary bases, one much bigger than the other. "Except for the bases that is," Jeff adds. He then pulls out a compass, and finds the location of them, since he remembered the exact longitude and latitude of Royal Dog Isle. Shockingly, it reads the same. "The same thing!" he says, "But that's impossible!" "Well, let's see," Colleen says, "Our island is home to two millitary bases. How long has it been since we were here?" "Only 1 and a half weeks," Jeff replies, "And anyway, we didn't call on a millitary or anything. I think we should get some answers. I'll try these 'drok warriors' first. I feel safer that way." The three then walk quietly up to the base, where it seems the army has taken a break. Jeff then walks up to a security guard, and as he prepares to tell him something, he notices something about the guard. Then, he's sure of it! It's a cano-sapien, just like him! "Cano-sapien??" Jeff asks the guard. "Excuse me, fellow drok, I did not catch what you said," the guard says. "Well, I asked you if you were a cano-sapien. And I'm no drok," Jeff replies. "Apparently you are, unless you are wearing a costume," the guard replies, "I know nothing of cano-sapiens." "What makes me a drok then?" Jeff asks, still confused. "Well, since you have qualities of both human and dog, and are most likely from the far away planet of Trasile, unless you were transdogmafied, you are a drok." "I was transdogmafied," Jeff replies, "But I believed that I was a cano-sapien." "Well, we do have someone who can help you with your confusion," the guards replies, "Come with me." "How about my friends? They think they are cano-sapiens too," Jeff says, still puzzled about this mysterious guard, that appears to be a bulldog. "Bring them on in then," the guard replies. The three then hesitantly follow the 'drok' through the door, and then down a winding hall, and then through double doors. The guard then shouts out, "Proffesor Shepard! We need your help!" "Proffesor Sheperd?" Jeff asks shocked. "That's his name, don't wear it out," the guard replies. Then, for the first time, Jeff, Colleen, and Blitz (they never saw him in "Reigning Cats & Dogs") see the Master, a lot younger. "Yes, Shrak?" Sheperd asks. "These droks seem to be in a little bit of confusion," Shrak explains, "They keep telling me that they are cano-mutants." "How do you know about that?" Sheperd replies, shaken. "Don't you remember Master," Blitz says, "You were the one who recruited us and transdogmafied us." "There's no way!" the Master replies, "I hadn't even begun to recruit the team of canine heroes I was planning. Not until at least 1991 or 1992." "But it's 1997!" Blitz shouts. "You must have been injured," Shrak says, "It's 1987." "Ok, I get it, this is one big joke right," Colleen says, "Any minute, all the Rovers will pop out and say "Gotcha!"" "Rovers?" Sheperd asks. "Yeah, Road Rovers," Colleen says. "Road Rovers, not a bad name," Sheperd says. Meanwhile, Jeff had snuck off to a nearby computer, where he saw that there was a modem, inferring Internet capability. Just now, Shrak realized this. "What are you doing?" Shrak asks, witch concern. "I am trying to find my website on the net," Jeff replies. "Cool, you have a website?" Shrak asks. "Sure do," Jeff replies, "Doesn't everybody." "Not really," Shrak replies, "Only a select few do." Then, as Jeff tries to connect, the screen reads, "Not Found." "We are in the past!" Jeff shouts. "You must be hurt, sure seems like it," Shrak says, "It's 1987." "I'm starting to believe that," Jeff says. As Colleen and Blitz enter, they begin to feel the same way as Jeff, noticing that his website is missing. "Is that good or bad?" Blitz asks. "Why, you little..." Jeff says, as he gets up and chases after Blitz. "Well, there two things that I can conclude about this," Colleen says, "#1, No matter what the year and what they say, Jeff and Blitz will fight, and #2, Jeff still loves his website (true fact! :-)." "You know that's right," Jeff says, as he turns to Colleen.

·  Back In 1997

·  The show jumps back into the present with a picture of Hubert's lab, where Hunter remains, but he has awaken. And now, instead of it being just Rango, Hubert, and Hunter, in the room are Exile and Shag. When they first entered, they were suprised to see Hunter, but by now they are calm. They entered just as Hunter awoke, but as we come in, he says his first words. "Help...me," he says. "Hunter? Bro?" Rango asks. "Rango," Hunter says, "Help....me." "What happened?" Rango asks. "Parvo...he tried to kill me," Hunter says, "I do not like him very much." "You shouldn't Hunter," Rango says, "He's evil." "Am I evil?" Hunter asks, still dazed. "Of course not," Rango says, "You're a good guy mate." "I wasn't," Hunter says, "But being evil hurts. Being a good guy feels good."

Has he finally lost the mind warp?" Exile asks. "The power of it wore off with the crash," Hubert says, "He is only barely thinking that he's evil. That means he can be one of us again, but keep an eye on him. He could turn at any moment." "Well, at least it's good to have him back again." We then jump to Star's room, where she has just woken up. She is walking down the hall to Blitz's room. When she arrives, se knocks on the door, and then waits for about 30 seconds, and gets no answer. "Come on Blitz, I know you're in there!" Star says. She then waits 20 more seconds, and then decides to finally walk in on Blitz. As she enters though, she finds his radio playing, meaning that he never shut off his alarm, and that his room is empty. "Where is he?" Star asks quisically. She then picks up his phone, and dials up his cellular phone, but the voice replies, "Sorry, this number cannot be reached. Please call back later!" Star then panicks. "What happened to him?" she asks, "Did he get injured? Was he harmed in anyway?" She then runs out of the door, and looks in everybody's door searching for somebody to tell er something. When she finally finds nobody (she searched Exile, the Master, Blitz, and Rango's rooms), she then rushes into the plane room, where she spots an untouched new plane. She thought she remembered seeing two, but she figured it was just her imagination at work. She then runs to the plane, and searches for some sort of locator to notify her of Blitz's location. But, instead of seeing one location board, she sees two. And strangely, at the top, one says "Plane 1: 1987," and the other "Plane 2: Present." And then, on the Plane 1 board, she sees three little dots that read, "J/G, C/C, and B/D." "J/G? C/C? B/D?" Star asks. She then thinks it over in her head, and comes up with nothing. So, she looks at the Plane 2 board, and she sees one dot that reads, "S/GS." Immediately, she says, "Star! German Sheperd! That's what the code is!! So that means taht, let's see, J/G, that would be Jeff/Greyhound, C/C, that would be Colleen/Collie, and B/D, that would be Blitz/Doberman! So those three are in 1987? No way!" She then searches around the front of the plane, until she finds something that looks like a clock. On it, it says, "02/17/93." "So I must be headed to Februrary 17, 1993,” Star says, “Wonder if I can change it…” as she tries, the plane takes off.  She is headed to 1993.

·  1987

·  By now the fighting has subsided, and the Rovers have awaken from a daytime nap. They have come to believe now taht somehow they were transported 10 years into the past, and they have arrived before the Royal Dog life came into place. As they wake up, Jeff says, "I'm suprised that Royal Doghood is this short. Then the original kings and queens must have been..." "Our own parents," Colleen interupts. "Cool!" the two agree. "Well, what are we going to do now?" Blitz asks, unpatiently, as usual. "I don't know if there is anything we can do," Jeff says, "Except to find out more information as to what is going on. I still have no earthly." "Same thing here," Colleen replies. But then, Jeff gets a thought. "Wait a minute!" he says, "If it's 1987, then Garrett must be alive!" "Good thinking Jeffy!" Colleen says. "Who?" Blitz asks. As Jeff prepares to explain, Colleen gives him a look, a look reminding him of Garrett's circumstances and the extra human year they spent. "Just a friend," Jeff replies. He then walks up to Shrak, and asks, "Do you know of a dog named Garrett?" Shrak then looks at Jeff strangely, and whispers something to the younger Master. He then says, "Garrett is our special wisdom giver," Shrak replies, "He cannot be disturbed for a visit." "But it's very important!" Jeff whines. "Sorry," Shrak replies. The rest of the day goes pretty simple for Jeff, Blitz, and Colleen (I have made a new decision. These stories will be written not in TV show format, but in story format. The Commercial Breaks will be end of Chapters), just mainly dinner with the cano-sapiens, a chance to see Ferris Bueller's Day Off for the billionth time, and a couple of games before bed. But, right before they hit the sack, Shrak says, "Stay here you three. The general is going to talk with you." The three then seem a little hesitant about this, but they stay anyway. And then, seconds later, the general enters. As soon as they see him, they immediately recognize the similarities he has to Jeff. The general even notices it, but doesn't get disturbed by the whole thing. Generals aren't supposed to, y' know. "Where are you three from?" the general asks. "America, sir!" Colleen replies, a little jokingly. Jeff nudges her to stop. "Do you come in peace or war?" the general asks. "Huh?" Jeff asks. "We come in peace, we definetly, definetly come in peace!" Blitz begs. "Why are you here?" the general asks. "We really don't know," Colleen says, "But we would like to help your army out, if that's allright." Jeff and Blitz then stare at Colleen angrily, knowing what the General will say next. "Then you can fight for us, correct?" They knew those words were coming. "Um, maybe," Jeff says, shifting his feet. "I will keep a close eye on you for a few days, I haven't exactly developed a sense of trust yet," the general replies, "In the meantime, you can help take care of our youth." Jeff, Colleen, and Blitz then slap their heads in anguish. Jeff then asks, "Why do you hate Americans?" "Well, I don't hate them all, just one person namely," the general replies. "Who?" Jeff asks. "His name is Simon Teller," the general replies,"He basically just kills and harms dogs for the fun of it. He is currently running a lab right here. Luckily we were called in in time." "From where?" Colleen asks. "A planet, far away," he explains, "A planet where we all our droks. You must have recieved your drokness from Sheperd, since he invented a machine for it." "Yes we did," Jeff replies, even though that is 10 years into the future. "I thought so," the general replies, "Now head to your sleeping room. You will be staying with two of our youths, my son Atilna and the other general's daughter Atilna. She's a collie." Jeff and Colleen then gasp, and as Shrak directs them to their room, Jeff whispers to Colleen this, "That's the name of the two colonies!" "I know," Colleen replies, "That's weird." Then, Jeff gets a thought. Maybe Atilna is his father, and that dog he just saw was his grandfather. He quickly gets rid of the idea, since it just didn't make too much since, and walks on.

·  1987 It is now morning, and Jeff, Colleen, and Blitz have met Serda and Atilna. And, what a suprise, they are absolutely crazy. When they woke up, Blitz found gum wads all over his body, and they hadn't got to Jeff and Colleen yet, when they all simultaneously woke up. As Blitz awakes, he finds wads of gum all over him, and sees the two mischef makers laughing. "You little trouble makers!" Blitz says, "Don't make me bite your tusshies!" The two then run off, followed steadily by Blitz. Jeff and Colleen had seen Serda and Atilna, and realized the similarities. "They could be our parents," Colleen says, "They look similar." "Very similar," Jeff admits, "It's possible."

·  The Present: 1997 When we return to RRHQ, we see Shag running down a winding hall, yelping and screaming because of someone. We then see Hunter come across a corner, and he immediatley shoots Shag..................................with silly string. We then get a close up on the gun, and see that it is Spirit. "I'm catching up to you!" Hunter says, in his normal, Road Rover voice. Then, suddenly, Spirit pops out with Hunter's net gun. She then shoots it at Hunter. "Catch of the day!" Spirit says, "Thanks for trading guns," she says, "This one is super cool!" But then, Hunter rips open the net and looks very angry at her. He then tries to hit her with his fist, but she dives out of the way. "Uh oh," she says, "He turned back." She then sneaks away, and crawls under a table. "You cannot hide!" Hunter shouts, in an angrier, meaner voice. But then, suddenly, something comes over him, and he faints. We then do that nifty "R O A D R O V E R S," thing-a-maggier, and we see Hubert huddled over Hunter where he fainted, as Hunter awakes. "What happened?" Hunter asks, "One minute I'm playing Shag and Spirit, the next, I faint." "You changed," Spirit says, "You started hurting me and you threatened me. Maybe it was because I shot you with the net gun." "The net!" Rango says, "That was what pulled Hunter down. And the net was what got him kidnapped. The Internet! Get it?" "Hilarious," Spirit says, sarcastically. "That must be it though," Hubert says, "Whenever Hunter has a memory of his life as an evil dog, he changes, and then faints." "This is not good," Spirit says. "Bad news, it definetly is," Hubert says. "Guess that means we won't be taking Hunter to Disneyland anymore," Rango says. "I'd stay away from anything Disney," Hubert says, "That could bring back memories. We just don't want that." Hunter then gets up, and gives Spirit back her gun. "Watch out for me, okay?" he tells her. "I will," Spirit says. Hunter then walks off around a corner. "He likes me," she whispers to herself.

·  We join up with Star now.  Star suddely finds herself in a familiar area, with palm trees, sunny days, and most of all, a water tower with Mickey ears on it. "I'm home!" Star says, "Coolio!" The plane then lowers into a forested area, and this time, it lands in a field, not tress. She then gets out of the plane, and to her right, behind trees, she hears a voice she remembers from somewhere. "And now, it's time for the Puppy Run!" the male voice, appearing to be in his 20s, says, "Bring all those young dogs out for a rize of $1000!" "The puppy run, of course!" Star says, "I was in that in 1994! And my brother, in 1993! Wonder if Xander won it!" Then, a thought comes to her. She had all the time in the world she realized. So could she go back in time and stop Xander from running away when she was young. But she once again did not remember the exact date. "I wish I could," she says, "But I can't." She then decided to go see if her brother wins, but she decides to keep a low profile, even if her parents wouldn't recgonize her, yet. She then silently approaches, and spots her parents sitting with her owners, who all look a little younger than they used to. "Kat was a cute little puppy!" Star says, of the youngest girl standing with her parents. She then sits down behind the race track, where the owners sit to watch their dogs race, but not in the bleachers. Her owners are sitting there, in the bleachers, of course. "And, our contestants!" the announcer says, "In Lane 1, a german sheperd named Xander!" "Yeah, go bro!" Star says. "In Lane 2, an Irish setter named O'Grady!" "In Lane 3, a bulldog named Timmy." And so on he went, naming dogs who looked slower than Xander and dogs that Star had never heard of, until, the announcer said, "And, in Lane 16, a non-Floridian entry, a greyhound named Jeff!" Star hears this, and at first thinks it's just a coincidence, but she then looks at the dog. He looks exactly like Jeff would be at the age of 5 or so! "What's he doing here?" Star asks, "This should be interesting!" She then sneaks up to the gate surrounding the track, and hears the announcer shout, "On your mark! Get set! Go!" Off the dogs fly like rockets. Early on, the leaders are visibly Xander, a hound named Opey, and Jeff. Then, as the race picks up, she notices that Jeff is pulling ahead of Opey and her brother. Who does she cheer for? Nobody. She just sits there and tries not to let the race swing either way. She wouldn't want to mess up time, would she? And, at the end, Xander makes a push for the lead, but Jeff pulls away late. Xander took second, followed by Opey. "And, congratulations to entree #16, Jeff! Owner, please come on down!" Star then sees a person dressed in a green coat, a scarf, sweatpants, and a snow cap on his head. "Must be from the north," Star concludes, since nobody dresses like that in Florida, right? He then comes dow, accepts the $1000 check, and walks off with Jeff. "I want to see who this guy is!" Star says, since you can see hardly anything of this person. She then chases him around a corner, where he begins to take off some of his extra clothes he had on. When he removes his snow cap, Star notices a metal helmet, and sees the face after the scarf is removed! General Parvo! Star is shocked by this, and thinks that maybe after all this time Jeff is a secret evil spy for Parvo.  She then watches to see what Parvo does, and sees him hit Jeff! "Nice job slave! But don't expect any royal treatment, ha ha ha!" Parvo says. Star then hears a growl from behind her, and turns around. She sees seven greyhounds, growling at Parvo. She then sneaks behind this corner, that is a shed, and peeks around to see what the greyhounds do. She then sees Parvo look up at the greyhounds, three of which are growling madly. Parvo then runs at the dogs, and tries to grab them, but two greyhounds bite his hand instead. They then pull Parvo down, and surround him, all growling very madly. Parvo then gets up, and runs, and the leash rips from Jeff as he runs off, chased by three very angry greyhounds. Then, the other four take pity on Jeff, and Jeff is seen to have several scars on his body, and even blood trickly down from his leg, all things h doesn't have later in life. Star is so shocked she can't watch. Jeff then notices that these greyhounds care for him, and throught their communication, he decides to travel with these dogs, at least to see what they are like. The family then walks off with their new addition. Star then peeks up, seeing Jeff walk off. "So that's his family," Star says, "And they sure did treat him well." Star then decides to head back to the plane, and have even more adventures traveling through time, hopefully to find out even more about Jeff.

·  1987

·  It's been a while since we were here, enough for a full day to pass. Here's what happened in this terrifing day:

·  In the morning, not much happened. After Atilna and Serda were punished for gumming Blitz, they had breakfast, and then tried to play some games with the two insane kids, but had little luck. And then, after lunch, the action picked up. Ler's go to it live: "Stop that, Serda!" Jeff says, to the dog who keeps throwing dirt at his head. Atilna is doing the same to Colleen. "Cut it out, you nutty dog!" Colleen says. "And to think they might have been the ones that decided for us to marry," Jeff says. He then looks down at his ring, but notices something amiss. His ring is amiss, namely. "Oh great, did it go down the sink?" Jeff asks. Colleen then looks for hers, and also sees that they are missing. The two then point to Serda and Atilna. "We didn't take any rings!" they say, whining. "They sound sincere, for once," Jeff says, "I'll trust them this once." He then thinks, and motions for Colleen to come inside. Blitz then remains with the two crazy kids. Jeff and Colleen then enter the base, and Jeff explains what he thinks. "I think that somehow we screwed up time," Jeff says, "Our being here has made our possible future parents come to not liking us, so if they saw us, even as children, we may not be married, if they didn't like us." "I see what you mean!" Colleen says, "So, what should we do?" "No idea," Jeff says. Then, Blitz busts through the door, and tells Jeff and Colleen the bad news. "Serda and Atilna ran away!" he says. "Oh no!" Jeff says, "Boy are we going to get it now." "We better catch those little mischief-makers as soon as possible, or we are dead dogs," Blitz says. "For once Fluffypants, you're right," Colleen says, "We've got to find them." The three then run out the door. Then, further ahead, Serda and Atilna are laughing and having a good time. "Ha ha!" Atilna says, "Now those three nerds will get in trouble with the army!! Ha ha, ha ha ha!" "Yeah," Serda chuckles, "This is a great plan!" Then, we go ahead an hour, to where the sun is beginning to set. Jeff, Colleen, and Blitz are busily searching under bushes and near trees for the two. "Serda! Atilna!" they shout continuously, getting no reply. Meanwhile, up ahead, Serda and Atilna are beginning to grow tired of playing this game. "Let's head back," Atilna says, "I'm sick of hiding from them." "Yeah, me too," Serda says. Then, all of a sudden, they hear a ruffling of a bush. "Probally them," Atilna says. But, instead of seeing the three, they see a man dressed in a green shirt and green pants with sunglasses on and a bazooka in his hand. To a person in '97, he probally would look similar to Duke Nukem, but of course, these people (cano-sapiens, droks, whatever) have no knowdge of someone like that. All Atilna recognizes him as is, "The enemy!" He then dives under a bush and then runs away, while Serda's attempt of escape is quickly stopped by "the enemy." The person then picks up Serda and puts her in the back of a truck. Then, we see night fall, and then we see the Rovers walking on the very spot where Serda was kidnapped. This is where they see footprints end, except for some skid marks to their left. "Follow those, I guess," Colleen says to Jeff, who has a flashlight in hand.

The three then follow these marks for quite a while, until they reach an end right outside a cave. Jeff then points the flashlight inside, and Colleen asks, "Hello?" "Aaaaahhh!!!!!' is the only response they get. This shout causes Blitz to jump backwards and scream, but meanwhile, Colleen and Jeff keep their calm ansd point their flashlight at the voice. They then see that it is Atilna. "Atilna?" Colleen asks, "What are you doing here? You and Serda should be back at the base by now." "Serda was kidnapped by the other army," Atilna replies, sobbing between his words. Jeff, Colleen, and Blitz then reply with stunned looks. "Oh no," Jeff says, "I know how hurt you must be." Atilna then stares at him strangely. "Maybe the love hasn't fully developed yet," Jeff thinks, "But maybe this is how it does." "We must get Serda then," Jeff says. "I'm not sure hwo we can," Atilna says, "Penetrating a enemy's military base isn't tops on my list of experience. "So true," Colleen agrees. "Well, we obviously can't return without Serda," Blitz says. "Then we won't," Atilna says, "Let's get some rest, it's going to be a long day tomorrow." "No, there is no way I am sleeping on the dirty, messy, filthy ground," Blitz says, folding his hands arrogantly. "Then sleep nowhere," Atilna says.

·  1997

·  The Rovers at the RRHQ have become very worried about Jeff, Colleen, Blitz, and Star. The two have been missing for 2 and a half days! In fact, something they just noticed, their location devices say that they can spot the Rovers, but the power is not good enough to tell their exact coordinates. Hunter has turned 5 times in the past 24 hours, once in his sleep, and Rango awoke with a sword inches from his paw, and blood flowing out of his arm. At that time, Hubert and the Rovers officially decided that it was time for Hunter to take a type of a nap. "This shot will keep Hunter sleeping until we really need him," Hubert says, "We just can't have him running around hurting people." "I understand," Exile says. We then jump back to the present, where we see Hunter sleeping in a chamber with a glass frmae over it. Exile and Spirit are currently looking at the sleeping dog. "Guess it was the best thing," Spirit says. "I hope so," Exile says. Spirit then cries, and turns away from Exile, trying not to clue him into her like for Hunter. Meanwhile, we see Shag, who has just completed repairing the slashed tires on the Turbo Jet Rover. He then waves to Rango, who has just entered the plane room. "Hey mate!" Rango says, "Want to fly with me to find the Master?" "Uh huh!" Shag says. "Let's go then!" Rango says. The two then hop in the plane and take off.

·  May 14, 1997

·  Not too far back in the past (I was writing stories at this time! :-)) we see a room inside the RRHQ, and three seats. One is occupied by the Master, another by Hunter, and one left open. Then, the Master says, "Junior Rover leader applicant, please enter." They then hear some kind of crash, but ignore it, since they think it is just some dishes dropped by Shag. But, instead, it's Star, who once again hit the "Auto" button and wound up at this date, that was a, let's see, a Wednesday. No, I didn't write a story on that day actually. Star, meanwhile, has jumped out of the plane, that landed soundly that time, and looks at where she is. "After all I've been through, it feels good to be home," she says, "Even if this isn't my real home yet, since it's May. I started in June." She then secretly sneaks inside a door, and finds herself in a large room she has never been in before. She then sees Hunter and the Master, so she quicly dives under the table, so she won't get realized. Hunter and the Master hear none of this, mostly because they are nervous of what is to come. Then, suddenly, the door opens, and in comes, from what Star can see, a greyhound cano-sapien. She then looks closer, and realizes that it is Jeff. "But he didn't join until the last day of May!" Star whispers, "He's 17 days early!" Jeff then sits down in them empty seat, and the Master gets up. "Welcome, Jeffrey," he says. "Jeff, please," Jeff replies. "Yes, Jeff," the Master says, "So, once again, review with me why you should be the Junior Rover leader?" "Well, I have a lot of good qualities about myself," Jeff replies, "I have a good deal of courage, strength, and much more. But, there is one thing I would like to ask. If I become Junior Rover, I'd like to start my life again as a human. My life as a dog has been painful, too painful, and I'd like to see how it feels to be human." "Lucky for you, we have the technology to do that," Hunter says. "And from our studies of you, you are a perfect canidate for the job." "Thank you," Jeff says. "Come with us," the Master says. The three then get up and walk to a different transdogmafier, yes, one you HAVE seen before. "Please enter," the Master says. Jeff then enters, and then the transdogmafier begins to work. We then see a series of flashing lights, and then, it all stops, and out pops a kid whose hair you could call blond or red, and one with freckles. "I have just one question," the younger voice asks. "Yes?" the Master asks. "Why am I a child?" Jeff asks, "I thought I'd be a grown-up." "You're better off being a child," the Master says, "Then the Junior Rovers will almost think that you are one of them. It makes your job easier. Just like

me being a grown-up works best for the Rovers,"

. REMEMBER THAT LAST LINE! YOU WILL FIND OUT WHY HE SAID THAT IN EPISODE #12! "And your name is William," the Master says, as the three exit the room. "Wow!" Star says, "So he is, er was, human. I need answers from that dog! I'm going to find him in 1987!" She then runs out the door to her plane, and quickly gets in. She then once again looks at the locator board, and this time she sees something she hadn't seen before. The official date! "Well, it's about time!" Star exclaims. "September 23, 1987, got it!" she says, after entering the new date into the machine. The clock automatically goes to 6:00 AM. "Well, I'm not a morning person, but I'll try it," Star says. She then lifts the plane, and flies off further into the past than she's been before.

·  September 1987

·  Star then sees a big jungle underneath her, and, there's no way avoiding a crash into it. She notices the rising sun, and then, seconds later, she notices jungle. She keeps her calm though, and manages to land the plane between two trees. She then gets out, and the first thing she sees is a large cave right ahead of her. But, as she walks by it, she hears a voice shouting, "Halt, who goes there?" She then runs, but she falls into a hole that was covered with leaves. Immediately, Blitz runs out to see who they caught, hoping it's some kind of food, and when he peeks over, he ses Star. "Star?" Blitz asks. "Yes, it's me," Star replies, as she tries yet fails to jump out of the trap. "Who else is here?" Star asks, curiously. "Jeff, Colleen, and Atilna," Blitz says, proudly. "Who’s that?" Star asks. “Long, long, long story,” Jeff relates, “We don’t even know for sure…but what’s important is that you are here." Jeff puts his hands down the trap and pulls Star out. "Now, on to the other base! The earlier we get there, the better off we are!" Colleen says. "That's right, because they'll be sleeping," Jeff says, "Let's go." "You two go ahead," Star says, "I need to have a word with Jeff." "Ok, but catch up soon!" Colleen says, as the two walk off. "So, what'd you want to say?" Jeff asks. "You were William?" she asks. "How do you know about that?" Jeff asks. "I was transported to the day March 14 1997. Remember taht day?" Star asks. "Of course, that was the day that I became William," Jeff replies. "But how come you are canine now?" Star asks. "I was changed back," Jeff replies, "My life was going well as a human, no doubt, but a few weeks later I finally decided that being me was the most important thing, so I changed back, to give my real life a second chance. And, as you can see, it has paid off." "Man, you've had some excitement in your life," Star says, "Much more than mine." "That's just me," Jeff says, "Seems excitement follows me around every turn." The two then walk on to catch up with Colleen and Blitz. We then jump to the other base, where the four are together, thinking up a plan. "Allright, this is what we got to do," Jeff says, as we see him whispering to the other three. "Excellent plan Jeffy!" Colleen says. "Thanks," Jeff says. Then, Blitz walks to the front door of the base, knocks on the door, and falls down Then, a guard exits, and sees Blitz lying on the ground. "Please have mercy on me!" Blitz says, "I am an injured drok warrior, and I need help." "We'll give you help," the man replies, as he picks up Blitz and takes him inside. "Now, we just sit here and wait for him to do his job," Jeff explains. We then go inside, where we see Blitz being placed into a prison-like cell, with Serda right next to him. "Blitz!' Serda says happily. "So thats' your name," the guard says, "Well, get to know each other better, you'll be together for quite some time. After Blitz is placed inside, the guard exits the room, and goes on to somehwere else. "Don't worry, I have something that will help us escape," Blitz explains. He then pulls out Jeff's shrinking gun, turns it to super shrink, and shoots Serda. "Aaaaaaahhh!!!! You turned on me!" Serda shouts, but then she realizes that the gun did no harm at all. She then looks at Blitz, and sees that he's a giant! "Aaaahhh! How'd you grow so big?" Serda asks. "I didn't grow, you shrunk, and I will now." Blitz then shrinks down to Serda's size. "And now we can get out of here!" he says excitedly. He then jumps on the little step between the cell and the outside, and gets out. He then jumps onto the step for Serda's cell, and pulls her up. After the two are out of the cells, Blitz enlarges himself, and then Serda. He then spots a door out of the base. "These people plan so poorly!" Blitz says, as he runs to the door, and opens it. After the two are out, Blitz pulls out the gun again, and tosses it to Jeff. "Do the honors," Blitz says. "Alright," Jeff says, As Jeff shoots at the base, and shrinks down to the size of an ant hill, and everything inside it even smaller, Jeff and Colleen's rings re-appear. "Job done!" Colleen says. "Now, Serda, Atilna is in a cave nearby. We need to leave to head home. When you go to tell your master what happened, tell him that we had to go, and that you were kidnapped, but you escaped amazingly by yourself. And drop this note off to Shepherd." Serda reads,

·  "Dear Sheperd,"

·  "In the year of 1997, the month of December, the 6th of the month, you will be kidnapped by an evil person named General Parvo. Please do anything in your power to avoid this horrible event from occuring.

·  Sincerely,

·  A Friend From The Future

·  "It's weird, but I'll give it to him," Serda says. "That's good," Jeff says, "So, we're off." The four then run off into the jungle, and soon they find Jeff, Colleen, and Blitz's plane they arrived in. "So, Star, you know how to work this thing?" Jeff asks, as the four enter. "Sure do," Star says, sitting acrooss from Jeff, who is flying it. Colleen and Blitz sit in the second row. "Can you get us back to 1997?" Jeff asks. "Sure, but I need an exact date," Star replies. "December 6, 1997," Jeff replies. "But, the real date is the 8th or 9th," Star says. "A lot happened on the 6th. I want to make sure all went well with the Master, with the note." "Oh yes," Star replies, "I almost forgot. And the time?" "2:30 AM," Jeff replies, "The time when it all happened." "We're off," Star says, as she sets the clock, and the plane takes off. The plane then picks up speed, and after a flash of light, the Rovers find themselves back at the RRHQ. The plane lands right outside of headquarters, and the four quickly run in. As soon as they enter, they see Jeff, Blitz, and Rango looking out a window towards a fallen plane. "Are we too late?" Star asks, whispering. "We might be," Jeff says, "But, Hunter crashing probally is more good than bad. The crash may help him return." "I sure hope so," Colleen replies. The three then run to the Master's bedroom, where they see Muzzle growling as soon as they enter. "Muzzle, what's up?" Colleen asks. "Thank you, friends of the future," a voice says. "Master?" Jeff asks. "Yes," the Master says, "Thanks to you, I still will live. But, as for Parvo." We then see Parvo and the Groomer driving off in the van, with a doll of the Master, that looks very real inside it. Then, we hear a ticking, and the Master says, "Parvo, your days of evil doing are done." Parvo looks to see if the Master's lips are moving, yet they aren't. Then, the doll's chest pops open, revealing a bomb, on 00:03. "It's another one of those deja vu feelings," Parvo says, as he jumps out of the car, along with the Groomer, just missing the bomb. "We may be defeated for now," Parvo says, but then he holds up the computer chip, "But this, this will lead us to the promised land."
