WRITTEN BY: John Ludin and Mark Seidenberg
HERO OF THE DAY: Hunter and Shag helped the most
WEAPON OF CHOICE: "Curse of werewolf!"
BASIC PLOTLINE (From Kids WB at AOL):
Investigating the disappearance of some of the royal family, the Road Rovers travel to London. There they battle a group of bad dogs. Returning to The Master's home later, they discover an piece of hair on Exile which matches the dogs they were battling. Professor Hubert, a bloodhound with a super sense of smell, analysizes the hair for them. It's from a werewolf!
During the night, they are horrified to discover that one of THEM is a werewolf! The Rovers travel to visit The Great Wise Dog to find out how to turn their comrade BACK to a normal dog before it's too late.
More Plotline: The Road Rover who is a werewolf is Colleen, though it is first expected to be Exile, which causes him to go into a lament...the Road Rovers must retrieve water from the English moor and some werewolf drool to cure the curse, according to Confuses, the "great wise dog."...as you would think, the Road Rovers win out, restoring everyone to normalness just in time
WHAT WE LEARNED FROM THIS EPISODE
-That baddies can come in many forms, they don't have to be grumpy humans or cyborgs
-That Exile doesn't like Father Russia, he's big grump, but he misses Mother Russia
-That Exile is NOT a werewolf!...But Colleen is!
-That you can't slip anything you eat by Professor Hubert...he knows where your schnoze has been.
FUNNIEST LINE:
I thought this one was good..."Ah, I miss Mother Russia. Father Russia, I don't miss much, he was big grump. But Mother Russia I miss. Ah, listen to the smooth strains of the balilika. I hate it so...somebody shut that thing off!" -Exile
KRANKOR'S FAN RATING: 8.8 out of 10 (3rd out of 13)
MY TAKE: Cool episode...liked the werewolf idea. The Exile/Colleen switch-off was also a good idea. Jokes were pretty cool too.
